In two weeks, Clark County’s Covid-19 mitigation plan will be completely dropped. County commissioners voted unanimously 7-0 to ditch the plan on Tuesday. Those capacity and large gathering restrictions in Clark County? They’re toast starting June 1.
Officials say fully vaccinated people won’t have to wear masks or socially distance except for certain situations. This comes as Nevada has aligned with the CDC’s updated mask guidelines, which allow fully vaccinated people to ditch their masks. Many casinos are allowing fully vaccinated patrons and workers to go maskless, but many businesses are not. Officials say they will continue to monitor hospitalizations and any case trends just in case a mitigation plan has to go back in place.
Oh, and if you haven’t been vaccinated yet…go for it!
