Many topics are covered today on Talkin’ Rock. Donnie was very candid and discussed his new album along with the debacle that was Pledge Music. He told me how the Beatles influenced him, having writer block as well as writing and recording while sober. The 30th anniversary of the debut album is this Fall and he gives me his thoughts on that. Chip Z’Nuff texted me some comments which I pass on to Donnie. He tells me about being fired from the band, the reason he took drugs, how he’s trying to be more like Chip & lots more.
Al Beck is back with Rock news as we talk about the new Tool album, a band that’s getting into the beer game, a couple bands talking about doing covers, Slipknot and Blink 182 news, as well….
