Another killer episode of Talkin’ Rock. This time it’s Dee Snider, along with Phil X and Kurt Deimer.
Dee’s up first talking about the Legacy: Tribute to Leslie West album. He talks about their friendship, meeting Leslie for the first time and all the rock giants that are on this album. We talk about the Station nightclub fire that happened 19 years ago. Dee was involved in a fundraising event as well as a documentary. He also answers the question of what people might misconceive about him. That was interesting.
Then – around the 17 minute mark – it’s Phil X and Kurt Deimer. Their album is Work Hard, Rock Hard. We talk about the record, those guys meeting for the first time, Geoff Tate singing on a track and more. Phil tells me about his time in Triumph, filling big shoes in that band and Bon Jovi and lots more. Enjoy!
