The Strat Hotel, Casino, and Tower is marking its 30th anniversary with a pair of poolside concerts, a major residency extension, and fresh entertainment news across the Las Vegas Valley.

The milestone celebration kicks off April 30 at Swim & Social with a headlining performance by Better Than Ezra, the New Orleans-formed rock band known for hits spanning its catalog from Good to Deluxe. Doors open at 3 p.m. with sets by DJ Santos and Empire Records before Better Than Ezra takes the stage. General admission tickets start at $43 and are available at thestrat.com.

The summer schedule continues June 6 with Totally 1980s at The Strat, a nostalgia-driven poolside show featuring Missing Persons, Prescott Niles of The Knack, Bow Wow Wow, and Tommy Tutone. Local legend Patrick Vitagliano's '80s cover band, The Bones, will open the evening. The lineup was curated by Alice Goldstein Entertainment. In addition to the concerts, the 30th anniversary celebration will include new culinary offerings, gaming activations, and property-wide experiences.

Elsewhere on the Strip, Mat Franco has signed a five-year contract extension to continue his residency at The Linq Hotel through 2030. The "America's Got Talent" winner has headlined "Magic Reinvented Nightly" at the Mat Franco Theater since 2015.

Franco said, "This show started as a dream."

Also making news, Frankie Moreno is launching a second "Vegas Remastered" production at the Westgate International Theatre following a sold-out performance Feb. 26. If demand holds, the show is expected to become a monthly series. Moreno also performs "Songs About Whiskey" at Santa Fe Station's Chrome Showroom on April 11.
