On this week’s Talking Solutions, we spotlighted a local nonprofit making a transformative impact for individuals with disabilities and their families — the Collaboration Center Foundation. Executive Director Cindy Goussak joined the show to share how this one-of-a-kind organization is redefining disability services through compassion, community, and connection.

Founded to bridge the gap in support services for people of all abilities, the Collaboration Center offers a holistic, family-first approach. From early intervention to lifelong resources, the organization’s mission is built on collaboration — bringing together providers, families, and advocates to ensure every individual gets the care and dignity they deserve.

A key part of their impact is the Pathways Program, which helps families navigate complex systems with confidence, offering personalized guidance at every stage. The campus also features sensory-friendly events, family yoga, and inclusive programming designed to uplift the entire household — not just the individual with a disability.

As Cindy explained, the experience of walking into the Collaboration Center is powerful. “For many families, it’s the first time they feel truly seen,” she shared. “We’re here to walk alongside them — not just for a moment, but for a lifetime.”

Up next for the Foundation is its 5th Annual Night en Blanc Gala, happening this fall. It's an elegant evening that not only celebrates progress, but raises vital funds to support year-round services. Attendees can expect live entertainment, inspiring stories, and a shared sense of purpose.

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now at collablv.org. All proceeds go directly toward enhancing disability inclusion and expanding critical services across Nevada.
