One Thing You Should Never Do In The Work Place

The headline alone should grab your attention! But seriously, there’s only one thing you should never do at work? You would think there would be a list right? We are…

The headline alone should grab your attention! But seriously, there's only one thing you should never do at work? You would think there would be a list right? We are sure there is, but The Mike & Carla Morning Show is here to tell you what's topping the list though!

But first, let's think of all the things you maybe shouldn't do at work. For example, steal supplies weather you operate out of an office or a warehouse. The other might be having "relations" with a fellow employee where you are employed

Although I'm not a real stickler for rules, we know a lot of employers frown on stuff like that. Ask George Costanza from "Seinfeld"!

Here's The One Thing You Do Not Do At Work

According to a recent thread on Reddit (content in the thread may contain offensive language), the question was simple, "Yay or Nay on taking off your shoes at work?" We can tell you that radio tends to work a little loose, but you have to wear shoes in the building.

On the other hand, Mike O'Brian is known for wearing his flip flops even during the chilly months. But at least he keeps them on his feet. But how many people where you work actually walk around with NO shoes?

Now some said that if you take your shoes off at your desk, that's okay. But when its time to walk into a meeting or up and down the halls. Ya gotta put them on!

Someone even suggested on the Reddit thread that if you are so incline to take off your shoes at work, then bring in a pair of slippers! You know what? Not a bad idea...and probably a bit more comfy as well!

The other point that came up about not wearing shoes, what if there is a foot odor? Now that is going to bother quite a few others in the office right?

Whatever the case maybe....if you are new on the job, stay in favor with management and fellow employees. Keep your shoes on!

Hardest Working Cities, Where Does Las Vegas Rank

Plain and simple, when it comes to the "Hardest Working Cities", where does Las Vegas rank in the country...compared to other cities? Just like you, The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to find out as well...where Las Vegas ranks!

According to our friends at WalletHub, they ranked over 100 major cities in the country. They used 11 different categories and gave out points. From the employment rate of individual city to the hours worked in a week.

Where Does Las Vegas Rank As A Hard Working City

With all that said, eight cities in the state of Texas showed up in the Top 20. Arlington, Plano, even Fort Worth, Texas showed up as hard working people. But not hard enough to crack the Top 10!

Sorry California, but clearly you have more things to do than work! San Francisco showed up as a "hard working city". However, this bay area metro area was the only California city to make the Top 10. C'mon Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento...pick up the slack!

But really, lets get down to the bottom of the list. When it comes to the "Hardest Working Cities" in America...here ya go, the Bottom five:

#112 Toledo, Ohio

#113 Newark, New Jersey

#114 Buffalo, New York

#115 Detroit Michigan

#116 Burlington, Vermont

So, there ya go...at least you know that Las Vegas is not last! Moving on, we should tell you that when it came right down to it, four cities in Nevada made the list. None of them were even in the Top 25. That's the bad news...the good news, were not the worst!

#79 Reno

#83 Henderson

#86 North Las Vegas

#88 Las  Vegas

Again, not the worst, but we think our cities can do a little bit better right? On the other hand, what were the Top 5 "Hardest Working Cities" in the country? You might be a little surprised at what cities made it or maybe not...depending on where you're from.

To see what cities did indeed make the Top 5, scroll down...and enjoy!

#5 ANCHORAGE, ALASKA

We think people work hard there just to stay warm! However, one of the reason people go to Alaska is to work...given that, now wonder the city of Anchorage made it into the Top 5!

#4 VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA

Can't say I've been there, but there seems to be something in the water that keeps these fine people working. Enough to the point where the are at #4 on the list! Congrats Virginia Beach!

#3 CHEYENNE, WYOMING

#3 on the list is Cheyenne, Wyoming! Another one of those cities that you have to wonder, "...what else is there to do?" Well, guess what, there must not be much more! A salute to Cheyenne...good on ya!

#2 IRVING, TEXAS

This was only one of two cites that made it into the Top 10. Austin, Texas actually came in at #10, but the city that normally plays second fiddle to Dallas made the state proud. Irving comes in at #2! Now get a RED pin map so you can look like the other cities on this list! LOL

#1 WASHINGTON, D.C.

There might be some debate on this ranking. While we understand that there maybe a few that truly work hard and put in the hours. But with all the politicians there, are they really working or just....you call it! Nonetheless, our nation's capital is #1 when it comes to the "Hardest Working City" in America! A toast!
