Every year this topic comes up and for good reason. With Halloween right around the corner, are you to old to be trick or treating? That was the topic of conversation this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show.

According to stats put out by YouGov, A majority say that if you're 16 years of age or older, that's it! Some states have even set the age limit for hitting up the neighborhoods for candy.

What Age Is Too Old To Be Trick-or-Treating

However, 43% admit that anywhere from 13-16 and you should hang in up! Check this out, in a township in New Jersey, they laid down the law with trick-or-treating The township elders have stated that the age limit is 12.

That's it! No one over 12 is allowed to go from door to door on October 31st looking for treats. Now, we're not sure how they watch this...maybe check for IDs at each and every house?

That has to be a little nuts right? On The M&C Morning Show, Carla Rea said that her Halloween days were over at about the age of 12. On the other hand, Mike O'Brian said that 13-14 years old was the cutoff year.

Both agreed that when you went into high school, that was a pretty good sign it was over. But was it? That's when the fun really began...Halloween Parties!

Into high school, you still dressed up in a costume, but it was off to the local basement party with cool jams, great friend and Halloween party games.

Listen, everyone has an idea of when you stop, but when does the fun really begin? Each of us has a certain age when all that changed. Look on the bright side, 27% of those polled in the article said that there should be no age limit to trick-or-treating!

You decide...but take a couple of minutes and listen to the segment from this morning and you decide!

The 5 Absolute Scariest Movies To Watch For Halloween

If you're looking for the absolute scariest movies to watch for this year's spooky season, there are some factors you really need to consider. How many times does the movie make you jump out of your seat? How many people die in the movie? How scary is the script? These factors are important when making a scary movie. And they should be equally important for the watcher who is picking the scariest films. After all, Halloween is just one night. So we'd better make that time count.

Fortunately, experts at VIP Grinders did all the leg work and came up with the list of scariest films out there. All of which should be at your spooky Halloween movie night. For this list, the experts gathered data and ranked scary movies based on very important elements. Including the number of jump scares, the number of fear-related words in the script, and the number of deaths in the film.

In addition to the research, the data analysts also gathered information from Scary Meter. Which is a website that asks horror movie fans to rank movies based on their scary factors. Viewers are given a scale of one to 10 and asked to rank each film based on how scary, gory, and jumpy they are. The rankings were analyzed based on a search of fear-related keywords to come up with the absolute scariest movies in existence.
