Well, if you think about it, someone has to say it first, ya just gotta be prepared. But what happens when she says I love you first...what do you do? This is what came up this morning in Group Therapy on The Mike & Carla Morning Show this morning.

For the record, Mike O'Brian said that his wife said it first...he's reply, not the best! "Uh, do you want breakfast?" On the other hand, Carla Rea said it first to Angie, but she actually had a good reason. Life's too short not to say the things you should say. Nice!

She Said I Love You First, What Do I Do

Of course, if you need some advice on this, Psychology Today says that if you want the power, you might want to wait! However, the article did note that men usually say it first!

Well, not in this instance...and this is where Group Therapy comes in. Got a text from a guy where he said that his girlfriend of a year finally dropped the "I love you" line. Totally caught him off guard.

His reply did not endear him to her when he blurted out, "I love spending time with you too!" Uh, not the answer she was hoping for we guess. But not is all lost as we offered some advice.

Keep in mind that this is not the first time this has happened in a relationship. Couples have survived this type of thing. So not is all lost.

Some listeners thought, get your thoughts together, and then when the time is right, simply come forward with your well thought out words.

That was pretty much the opinion of those listening this morning. Here's where it gets a little interesting though, the guy has told a friend that he doesn't even know if he loves her. Even his friend suggested that if he doesn't know after a year, maybe it's time to move on!

Take a couple of minutes, listen to the segment and you be the judge...and enjoy!

How Happy Are Married Couples In Nevada

Everyone knows that Las Vegas can be a fun place to live, but what if you're married. It might be hard to stay married in Las Vegas, but how happy are married couples in the state of Nevada? According to one article put out by Zippia, we're not very happy!

Exactly how happy are married couples in the State of Nevada?

To determined "happiness" the survey considered the following factors:

You factor in all these things to find which state has the happiest people. Now consider the fact that married people tend to be happier to start with.  With all that said, it's sad to say that, despite all the fun we might have to offer in the state of Nevada, we are ranked #34! Even though our "Depression Rate" is a 3, we fall low on scores in the other categories.

You would think that with everything our state offers, we can't be happier? The great outdoors, hiking trails, enjoying the lakes in both Southern and Northern Nevada? Think of all the shows, concerts. It seems like there is always something to do here. On the flipside, that might be the problem as well.

With gambling, being a 24 hour town, it sometimes is difficult to curb the urges with all that Las Vegas has to offer. As we all know, there's no "last call" here in our great state. Sometimes that can be an issue. That alone can be one huge reason as to why being married in this state is tough.

You can be take some solace that we are "happier" than those in the state of Texas, Florida and even in the tiny state of Rhode Island! By the way, the least happiest state...Louisiana! But what  states tend to be the happiest when you're married, you might be surprised. Do yourself a favor, scroll down and see what they are for yourself!
