UFO Sightings: Where Las Vegas Ranks Among Other Cities

Now none of us should be that surprised, but when to comes to UFO sightings, where does Las Vegas rank in comparison to other cities? It's was let out of the bag on The Mike & Carla Morning Show that 23% of us claim to have seen a UFO!

Can you believe it? 23% have admitted to seeing a space alien ship at some point in their life! Now, whether it's been validated or not that's a topic for another time. But to think that many people have seen one is quite amazing...or is it.

Now if you haven't seen one, you might be in luck. According to a recent article from BetUs, they listed a bunch of cities in the U.S. where you just might have good luck in spotting one. And you guessed it, Las Vegas is right up there!

Of course, you'd have to think that those cities in a desert type area would be a great place to see one. Or anywhere there are not a lot of people! For example, making the list, cities like Santé Fe, New Mexico, Grand Junction, Colorado...how about Wichita, Kansas?

On the other hand, a few surprises were on the list. Normally you wouldn't think that a big city would be a place to spot a UFO. Well guess what? According to this list, you might be in luck New York, Los Angeles or even Chicago!

Clearly, aliens are looking for the night life as well and not shy about landing or at least hovering over these three cities.

Getting down to the last place you wanna be to spot one...York, Nebraska! Only 5 have been spotting over this tiny town. You'd think with a population of just over 8,000 residents, this would be the perfect spot right?

But when it does come to the Top 5 and Las Vegas, here ya go....#1 Phoenix, #2 New York City, #3 LAS VEGAS, #4 Portland and #5 Tucson!

So, the story broke late last week, aliens landing in a Las Vegas neighborhood...but were they?  A lot of people hadn't heard about this, but it was making the news! That's what The Mike & Carla Show were talking about this morning.

As Wendy Rush wrote about a UFO landing in a backyard in Las Vegas last week, The M&C Morning Show wanted to know what people actually thought about this happening. The text and phone lines blew up! Listeners couldn't understand why there wasn't more on this story. There were too many gaps in the report. Even with other eyewitnesses to the phenomenon, all of a sudden it was swept under the rug!

Oh, and what happened to the "thing" that crashed into the backyard? What happened to the 8 foot tall creatures with the "big  eyes"? All these questions and more kept coming up. A few listeners had their theories on this whole thing.

But when Nellis AFB came out and said that they weren't concerned with the report, that's when others went hmmmm? Why not? Why wasn't the U.S. Air Force interested in something where there were eyewitnesses?

This whole story is so bizarre and for it to happen in Las Vegas makes it that much more interesting! Especially when you have Area 51 right in our backyard! All this is very interesting and even more so when it's being kept hush-hush!

Now M&C have their own thoughts to mix in with the comments from listeners. They each talk about how they feel about this sort of thing happening. Even more so, why aliens would come to Las Vegas in the first place! All good stuff that you're going to want to listen to if you have a couple of minutes. Listen and come up with your own theory as to what happen...if anything indeed did happen and enjoy!

How can you not watch this movie if you're talking about "aliens"? It came out back in 1988 and had everything you needed for a cheesy "alien" movie...including KLOWNS! One of the best!

This is a great "alien" flick...so much so the movie is called "ALIEN"! Sigourney Weaver as we've never seen her before and the build up of seeing the monster from outer space makes this movie a must see if you are talking about "alien" movies!

What a classic "alien" flick with an all-star cast! With Jack Nicholson, Michael J. Fox, Pierce Brosnon and more! In fact, a portion of the movie happens right here in Las Vegas...PERFECT!

A lot of people would say this is the ultimate "alien" flick. A must see if you want all the elements of a good movie. Great cast, gory at times, funny at times and much more! "Men In Black" has it all!

Just the best movie ever when it comes to "aliens"! Touches the heart, the whole family can watch it and it has a great soundtrack. What other "alien" movie can you say that about! #1 in our books!
