What Happened To The Package I Mailed
We’re sure this has happened to quite a few people, but sometimes you have to ask yourself, “what happened to the package I mailed out?” It was what we asked this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show this morning.
Carla Rea talked about a friend who was asked to take a cologuard test and then mail in the sample. The lab even provided a means of transformation for the sample.
So, she did it, sent it off and waited. However, as it turned out, weeks went by before she decided to make the call since she hadn’t heard anything. How unusual, by the lab said they never got the sample.
Of course the question now, what happened to my package? And not just any package…it has my DNA in it! Somewhere in America, there is a box on a front porch containing something very personal!
What Happened To My Package Containing My DNA Sample
Let’s think about this…how could this have happened? Of course there are things you should do according to an article from anytime mailbox. One thing that normally happens is that one digit could be wrong on the return address.
Keep in mind that they gave the person a return container with an address on it. Could it be a simple human error. A case of someone delivering a package to the wrong address.
Not even knowing what’s contained in the package, it actually could happen. It has happened right? It’s happened to all of us…getting a package with a wrong address?
The M&C Morning Show took quite a few calls and texts from listeners who confirmed that this happens more often than not. And it was more so, what other received in the mail by mistake.
From whips and handcuffs to gourmet seafood. That’s quite the spectrum of items…including a urine sample that mistakenly showed up to someone’s house.
The other question that popped up, if it does end up at your door, is it indeed yours? Do you get to keep the stuff in the box if they drop it off at your place whether it’s yours or not?
To this…listen to the segment and think about what you would do! And enjoy!
