Group Therapy: Is Sci-Fi Collector A Red Flag

A young lady goes out with a guy and has a great time. They end up at his place and she wants to know if being a Sci-fi collector is a red flag? That’s the dilemma in this week’s Group Therapy on The Mike & Carla Morning!

Although it’s from a few years ago, an article put out by UnderScoopFire puts quite the perspective on it. It actually tells you what it says about you depending on the number of action figures you have!

Is Being A Sci-Fi Collector A Red Flag When Dating?

For example, the article points out that if you have 1-5 action figures, you probably are the typical adult. However, when you get into the 100s, that is a different story.

So, back to Group Therapy on The M&C Morning Show…a very interesting situation. This woman goes out with the guy. They have a great time on their first date. He invites her back to his place. Upon entering, she notices 100s of sci-fi action heroes and stuff animals. We’re talking EVERYWHERE!

When she told her sister, she was told to dump the guy and don’t even think about a second date. On the other hand, a friend who loves STAR WARS, didn’t see the big deal. Especially if he was a good guy and they had a great first date!

What was more surprising was the response from listeners on this. Gotta be honest, was a little surprised. Most listeners said so what about the collection. If you had a good time and he’s a great guy, then go for it.

Even Carla Rea brought up Rick Springfield, who at one time, had the biggest collection of Star War figurines in the country. Carla admitted, had she had a shot at the rocker, the collection wouldn’t of bothered her in the least!!!!!

Robots, AI, Chat GPT – there is no doubt about the fact that we are entering a brave new world of technology. It seems as if each day brings another technological innovation that will be amazing, and somewhat flawed, and change our world in both good and bad ways.

You hear more and more everyday about AI, or artificial intelligence. Scroll through TikTok and you will see dozens of videos promising to show you how to AI can help you make millions of dollars, be more efficient at work or even plan your vacation.

It’s all very cool, and futuristic, and even Jetson-like. But I do believe if we’re not careful, we’ll all be replaced by new AI Overlords soon!

Chat GPT-4 actually did this list, and compared every single NFL team to a Star Wars character, and matched them up. Some of the results are really fun – and actually pretty dead on. Others, maybe not so much.

Again, keep in mind that a company called Fansided did this on Chat GPT-4, so it may have gotten certain details incorrect or some of its data might be out of date – because AI is still slightly flawed, and it probably will be for a while. Humans designed it, after all.

Chat GPT-4 is only “trained” through September of 2021. So for example, Chat GPT-4 doesn’t yet know that the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl this year, nor does it know of a lot of the changes that have taken place in the NFL over the last couple years. But it sure knows its Star Wars characters!

All of that said, the data it does have on NFL teams is pretty extensive. So they took a deep – and fun – dive in, and basically let a robot come up with the Star Wars character for your team. See what you think, and how accurate or inaccurate you think these comparisons are.
