Taco Tuesday In Vegas Getting Spicy With New Trivia Night
Taco Tuesday in Vegas comes with a lot of tasty options for food. But a local restaurant is adding fun to the menu as well with a new Trivia Night. La Neta Cocina y Lounge is launching their first ever Trivia Night on Tuesday, August 20. And guests are encouraged to come enjoy delicious food while trying their hand at some trivia questions.
What Taco Tuesday In Vegas Will Look Like At La Neta Cocina
La Neta Cocina is already a great place to spend Taco Tuesday in Vegas. They have $20 endless tacos, $25 bottomless margaritas and $7 Don Julio specials. The endless tacos include La Neta’s Street Tacos, made with carne asada, carnitas, chicken or shrimp. The Taco Tuesday bottomless margaritas come in classic or spicy. La Neta Cocina also has shareable large margaritas as well as tequila flights.
Trivia Night Tuesdays at La Neta Cocina will be held every Tuesday, starting on August 20, between 6 and 8 p.m. It will be inside the lounge and hosted by Robot Brain Events. Besides great food and fun, guests will have the chance to win La Neta Cocina gift cards as well. In the amount of $100 for the first place team, $50 for the second and $25 for the third. Teams can be made ahead of time, on the fly, or players can play alone.
And Taco Tuesday in Vegas will never get stale at La Neta Cocina. They are changing up the quizzes every week, so players can return every Tuesday and never get bored. Game categories will include General Knowledge, Music, Before & After and more. Robot Brain Trivia usually involves six rounds of ten questions per round. So there will be a lot of fun to be hand as the night progresses.
La Neta Cocina y Lounge is located at 1770 Festival Plaza Drive in Downtown Summerlin. They are open 3 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Brunch begins on Sunday at 11 a.m., followed by dinner starting at 3 p.m. Happy hour is offered daily from 3 to 6 p.m. and Taco Tuesday specials begin every Tuesday at 3 p.m.
The lounge is only open to those 21 and older, and there is strictly-enforced “upscale fashionable” dress code. Guests who want to dine can make reservations ahead of time. Trivia Night is free entry.

#6: Jack In The Box "Crunchy Taco"
So greasy we could see our reflection.

Price Per Ounce: $0.28If you were looking for a real deal taco, you wouldn’t be in the drive thru at Jack In The Box. The tacos are oily, pre-sauced so any crunchiness is gone by the time you open them, and leave a lot to be desired. But the price per ounce is the best of the pack… so if you’re just looking to fill that tummy, you’ve got your place. They don’t sell them solo so the weight is over-stated but, hey, we got two. You’ll get two. Quit whining.
#5: Don Tortaco "Beef Taco"
It may have replaced an old Roberto’s location, but this taco was no Roberto’s.

Price Per Ounce: $1.15I have said on many occurrences that Don Tortaco and Roberto’s are the same. After all, Don Tortaco appeared out of nowhere and in former Roberto’s locations. Well I am here to tell you, they are not. The taco fell pretty flat, the beef tasted a bit overcooked and dry. Not a lot of flavor. This is the most expensive (by weight) taco on the list and it didn’t cut it.
#4: Taco Bell "Crunchy Taco"
It’s… Taco Bell. Don’t expect much.

Price Per Ounce: $0.56Just like Taco Tuesdays at your totally-not-Mexican mom’s house, these tacos are just OK. Taco Bell food is more about the sauce than it is the food. That said, the beef has a little bit of seasoning which makes it not terrible. But you probably passed 3 better taco joints to get this and you should be ashamed.
#3: El Pollo Loco "Shredded Crunchy Chicken Taco"
This chicken is crazy… and also buried away.

Price Per Ounce: $1.00Is it beef? No. They don’t sell beef. So I made sure to eat this one last so all I could taste WAS beef. The chicken was tender but there is not a lot of it. Like a teen using Kleenex to appear larger, this crunchy taco is only crunchy because there are two shells. So the weight, tied for the lowest, is even worse considering that. Is it bad? Nah. But it’s pricey for what you get.
#2: Del Taco "The Del Taco"
All of the ratios were perfect in this one, like it was made for the official photo.

Price Per Ounce: $0.51Honestly, this was pretty decent. The tomatoes added a little something. There might have been too much cheese, but if you’re one of those people that think there is no such thing, you found your place. The crunch of the shell lacked a little something (it was soft) but nothing a pill can’t fix.

Not greasy, perfectly cooked. This was the boss.

Price Per Ounce: $1.07You don’t get to stay open for 60 years if you stink. This taco was absolutely amazing. The shell was perfectly fried and crunchy. Not oily at all. The ingredients tasted fresh. Add some green sauce to these puppies and they absolutely sing. Sure, they are more expensive than the national chains. But “you get what you pay for”.
