When you stay at a hotel, especially a fancy Las Vegas hotel, you expect a room that is clean and well kept. You also expect or hope that the housekeeping will clean your room while you're out. But what happens when the housekeeping stops using their cleaning items and uses your personal property to clean instead?

This happened to one man visiting the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Las Vegas, according to a TikTok video posted by this alleged victim.

Clean Las Vegas Bathroom, But Not So Clean Toothbrush

Lavell Jackson is an estate agent who was visiting Las Vegas for a convention for real estate agents, according to the video that he posted. Jackson was staying at the strip property during his visit. One morning while getting ready, Lavell did what everyone usually does in the morning, they brush their teeth. When he started to brush, he immediately stopped. He spit out the toothpaste and looked at his brush. Jackson realized his brush had been used.

After a closer look at his toothbrush, he knew that it had been used to clean by the housekeeping. He was livid.

Make This Situation Right

When Lavell talked to the hotel about his discovery, he got even more upset with their response to him. The hotel offered Lavell a $50 credit to his stay, the Daily Mail reported. They also offered to buy him a brand new toothbrush. Lavell immediately took to TikTok to tell his story. He started getting tons of responses and questions regarding the situation.

One person even asked him how he knew they used his toothbrush to clean? Lavell responded back to the question stating the inside bristles of the brush were really soft. The outside bristles were smashed down and flexing outwards, as if lots of pressure was place on them, he said on TikTok.

Another person responded with "I ALWAYS put out the do not disturb sign when I leave the room! I request service while I' in the room!" according to Indy100. One person even stated that they hide their toothbrush when they're not using it to prevent incidents like this from happening.

We don't know if Lavell Jackson tried to get more than a $50 credit but he did say in his TikTok video that he will no longer leave his toothbrush out. As of today, his video has over 150,000 views.
