All We Want To Know Is Who The Heck Figured That Out

It's a simple question with many answers...who the heck figured that out? It's the ultimate question for those looking for answers. And The Mike & Carla Morning Show opened up the phone and text lines this morning to see if they could find out.

Now before we get too deep, keep in mind that it's a basic question. Sure, there are reasonable answers. This all came from a thread on Reddit (contents might include comments for 18+ only) asking multiple questions on who thought this stuff out!

For example, we all know how phones work, if you read up on it, it will of course explain. If you go to Explain That Stuff, the article will explain that microchips, cell towers and more are all involved in the process. But the question basically asks, who even came up with the idea to put all that together.

Now that's incredible stuff, but what The M&C Morning Show got to talking about was stuff like food! Like who picked up a mushroom and thought, huh, this might be good to either eat or just add some flavoring to my steak! That's what we're talking about.

Same thing with coffee! Who was the person that just thought this berry tastes awful. Someone had to take it a step further and think, if you take the bean out, and develop a process, I might be able to drink this stuff.

It all has to come from some where right? That's what we were talking about this morning. Just short of finding our all the answers, more listeners had questions. Texting them in, calling them in. One woman wanted to know who the heck figured out that lasers would work on surgery?

Arabica is known for having a smooth and complex flavor with a distinct lack of bitterness. Robusta, often associated with Vietnamese coffee, has a stronger and bolder flavor with a higher hint of bitterness laced within the coffee's profile.

The other and less common coffee beans, Liberica and Excelsa, have different flavor notes and are grown in Africa and Asia.

According to CoffeeAffection, Liberica beans "has a controversial and polarizing reputation for wild inconsistency. Those who’ve tried this rare variety either love it or hate it."

Some have described the flavor as nutty, woody and "burnt," with a backbite.

Excelsa beans have qualities that are a mixture of light and dark roast traits. These beans have tart and fruity flavors with a lighter aroma. Yet, these beans still have a depth of flavor.
