Henderson Multi-Purpose Arena Has A New Name
Well, it didn’t take long to change out the name, but the Henderson multi-purpose arena has a new name. From the beginning, it was all known to us as the Dollar Loan Center, but that is no more. So, now you can refer to the Henderson multi-purpose arena as The Lee Family Forum!
Channel 3 is reporting that Bill Foley, owner of the Vegas Golden Knight and Silver Knights, made the announcement. Foley Entertainment cited it was a nice tribute to the Lee Family, who of course owns Lee Liquors throughout the valley.
Henderson Multi-Purpose Arena Has A New Name
The arena is home to the Vegas Silver Knights, The Las Vegas Thrill, and the IFL’s Las Vegas Knighthawks football team. Nothing much will change, however, the Lee Family did say that they will also hold wine tasting events and more at the arena.
The report also says that buying the naming rights will honor the father, Hae Un Lee and his son Kenny Lee, who was killed in a tragic car accident in 2021.
The Mike & Carla Morning Show mentioned it this morning during the show. How fast was this happening…even as we speak. Other than that, nothing much will change at the arena.
It has been quite the place to be to see sporting events and more since it opened back in 2022. The place holds a little over 5500 fans for sporting events that include basketball as well. It truly has put the city of Henderson on the map over the past couple of years. It seems to be the place to go, especially for locals.
Although the name has already been changed on the arena and on the website as well. The official unveiling of the new name will be on Wednesday night (4/3/24) right before the Vegas Silver Knights take on the Ontario Reign. The puck will drop at 7pm
