Hunter Has Crazy Request About Hunting Sasquatch
A hunter called a police station in northeastern Washington and asked them if it’s legal to hunt a Sasquatch.
You Want To Hunt Sasquatch?
If you’re planning to go camping or hunting in the northeastern part of Washington, you may want to stay home. Or, if you’re hairy and plan on camping there, keep your shirt on because you could be a target.
The Stevens County Sheriffs Office posted on their Facebook Page that they were contacted by a man asking if it’s allowed to hunt in their area. Not just hunt big game. He wants to hunt Big Foot. He mentioned he’s coming to town around April to hunt Big Foot. The hunter also inquired about needing a special license to hunt the hairy mythical creature.

You’re Asking The Wrong People
The police department told the man that he was contacting the wrong people for answers, the Facebook post said. They advised him to contact the Fish & Wildlife Office. The funny thing about this is he did contact him about hunting the big hairy creature, they directed him to call the police. The police took a message and passed it up the chain of command at the police department. The hunter also wanted to clarify to them that he only wants to hunt a MALE sasquatch. So, all the female sasquatches are safe.
The Verdict
The patrol chief responded back to the man’s request and questions. He passed along two guidelines and pieces of information for others who are wanting to travel and hunt in the same area.
One: The guy wanting to hunt sasquatch asked about hunting in an area called Meadow Lake, which is in a different county. If you need more info, ask the sheriff there.
Two: He’s pretty sure there is not a sasquatch around the area. He then says if there was one out there, one of his deputies would have hit one with their car by now.
