Hot New Dating Trend: Bottle Night

It seems that we're always looking for new thing when it comes to dating and relationships. Well, here's something new you might want to try...it's called "Bottle Night"!

Now according to a story on BuzzFeed, this guy on Twitter is claiming that he created this with his girlfriend. Basically, you shut your phones down, turnoff the tv, grab a bottle of wine and just talk! That's it! And now this trend has caught on and is the hot new thing.

But is it really? Haven't we all at one time or another grabbed a bottle, and said, let's just hang out, play some music and chill? Of course we have...maybe about 20-30 years ago, but now?

That's why The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to know if this indeed was something new! Or if listeners have tried this before...and guess what? It seems that this really isn't something new, however, there are different versions of this that couples have been doing for a while.

One woman called in to say that because of the different work schedules, her and her boyfriend have their own version. Depending on who is where, they hop on the phone and Facetime each other. If one of them is at work and the other at home in bed, it gets a little trippy if you know what we mean.

Hey, different strokes for different folks right? Whatever gets you through the night...others texted in with their versions as well. Not too sure if this is all that innovative, but whatever works.
