We all had them in school growing up, but this morning we thought, being Valentine's Day, it was time to confront our crush! The Mike & Carla Morning Show have talked about their school day crushes throughout the years, but this would be the day to finally face the music. To tell that person that we had a crush on them and get their reaction.

However, before doing that, The M&C Morning Show wanted to hear your stories. Hear about that person that made you feel all nervous anytime you talked to them or were around them in grade school, junior high, high school. Didn't realize how many people have gone through this and were willing to share!

Who Was Your Crush Growing Up

From elementary school through high school and afterward, there were quite a few stories. How each of them went their separate ways or how they were honest and ended up together. Those were some of the better ones.

Those two people that, although she had a crush on him, would just talk, date others, then go in different directions in life. Then, re-connecting down the road, admitting their feelings and before you know it, celebrating their 13th anniversary!

Or the one guy that went to high school with a future Hollywood actress. Had a crush on her the whole time...nothing ever happened, but we all agreed, that was a great story! Or when someone says, "...you can use my notes!" That's when you know it was meant to be. It all seems childish, but considering how old we all were, it was!

Even Mike O'Brian got the chance to talk to his Junior High School crush this morning. As excited as he was, it would have turned out a lot better if she could have remembered going to school with Mike! Awwww! Now Carla Rea, her crush hasn't called in as of yet, but there's always tomorrow.

So, take a few minutes and see if you can relate to the calls and people texting in with their stories...and enjoy!

Las Vegas Is Home To 6 Of The Top 10 Most Romantic Casinos

For many people, Valentines Day is the most romantic day on the calendar. Besides your relationship or wedding anniversary, February 14th is an annual reminder to let your sweetheart know that you love them. With that in mind, the experts at Casinos.com decided to check internet reviews to determine the nation’s most romantic casinos.

Las Vegas Is Home To Plenty Of The Most Romantic Casinos

It may be difficult for one to consider Las Vegas a romantic destination. Sure, if you want action, if you want to party, if you want incredible food, Vegas is your place. But is it really a great place for a romantic getaway for two?

Of course, based on television shows and movies, we know that Las Vegas is a great place to visit BEFORE the wedding. Certainly, Las Vegas is the perfect spot for bachelor and bachelorette parties. But that doesn’t count as romance. However, I can see why our home city is an excellent destination for marriage proposals, honeymoons, and anniversary celebrations. There’s plenty to do and see. Plus, Las Vegas offers some of the best dining and entertainment on the planet.

So, this Casinos.com survey of the most romantic casinos in the nation isn’t as crazy as you might think. Obviously, there are an incredible number of casinos in Sin City. So it may not be surprising to learn that our city boasts six of the top 10 most romantic casinos in the U.S.A.

Here’s How The Rankings For This Survey Are Determined

Basically, Colm Phelan’s article on the Casinos.com website bases the findings on internet reviews. In general, they consider reviews of the 30 busiest casinos in the nation. These casinos receive the most internet reviews.

Then, they check for keywords such as “romantic,” “proposal,” “wedding,” “marriage,” and “honeymoon” to see which casinos get the most mentions. Besides the six Las Vegas casinos, there are casinos from Detroit, Michigan, Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Temecula, California, and Seneca, New York making the top 10.

Without further ado, here are the six Las Vegas properties in the top 10 most romantic casinos in America!

6) Mandalay Bay Resort And Casino

Per the Casinos.com survey, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino ranks 10th in the nation when it comes to romance. The wedding page on their website boasts big awards from Las Vegas Bride Magazine, such as "Best Wedding Chapel, Weddings by Water, Best Wedding Resort, and Five Star Awards." Of course, to be a top-notch wedding destination, they must have experienced wedding planners. They'll take care of a bride's every need, from the flowers, the cake, the catering, the decor, and the photographer. "I do!"

5) MGM Grand Las Vegas

The MGM Grand Las Vegas comes in at number eight in the Casinos.com rankings. Although I could not locate a wedding page on their website, this legendary property certainly boasts amazing nightlife, restaurants, and entertainment. Perfect for a Las Vegas honeymoon, or if someone is ready to pop "the question." However, it's interesting to note that the MGM Grand Detroit performs better in this romance survey, placing fifth in the rankings. Las Vegas sounds like a more romantic destination, but I guess I feel that way because I've lived here for so long.

4) Bellagio Hotel And Casino

I would have guessed that the Bellagio Hotel and Casino would have placed much higher in the rankings in this Casinos.com review. Of course, this beautiful property ranks in the top 10, coming in at number seven. The Bellagio offers four amazing wedding sites on their grounds. The bride and groom can choose from the East Chapel, the South Chapel, the Terrazza di Sogno, or the Fountain Courtyard. Getting married near the iconic Bellagio Fountains would be spectacular, wouldn't it? But not on a windy day. You don't want the bride to end up soaking wet before the photographer takes the wedding pictures.

3) Aria Resort And Casino

OK, now we're down to the three most romantic casinos in the nation, which all happen to be located right here in Southern Nevada. Placing third in this survey is the Aria Resort and Casino. Although there is only one wedding chapel on site, there are plenty of romantic places to tie the knot in this hotel and casino. Additionally, many reviewers find the Aria to be a great spot for honeymoons and marriage proposals. After all, this luxury resort and casino has received both the AAA Five Diamond Award and a five-star rating from Forbes Travel Guide according to their website.

2) Red Rock Casino Resort And Spa

Here's the biggest surprise in this Casinos.com survey of the most romantic casinos in the nation. I would have guessed that all of the Las Vegas properties making this list would be located on The Strip. But no! A Las Vegas locals property in Summerlin places second. Congratulations to Red Rock Resort, Casino and Spa. The wedding page on their website boasts wedding venues poolside, or with amazing views of the Las Vegas Strip and nearby canyons. Of course, they offer ballroom weddings and receptions as well. I bet a lot of the positive romantic reviews  came from locals who celebrate anniversaries at Red Rock Resort, Casino, and Spa. Great place for a romantic staycation!

1) The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

And now, the most romantic casino in the U.S.A. is...(drumroll please): The Venetian Resort Las Vegas! And why not? It's almost like being in the romantic city of Venice, Italy with the gondola rides down the Grand Canal. Plus, you're surrounded by all that beautiful Mediterranean-inspired art and architecture. According to the Venetian website, "the Venezia Gardens are one of the best outdoor Las Vegas wedding venues." The Venetian outperformed the second place finisher by a wide margin, so there's no question about it. When it comes to weddings, marriage proposals, honeymoons, anniversary celebrations, or a romantic getaway for two, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is a winner.
