Las Vegas Raiders Put Up 63 Points On The Chargers
It was almost surreal watching as the Las Vegas Raiders bounce back with a big win over the Los Angeles Chargers last night. Putting up 63 points last night and setting a franchise record for scoring. This after one of their most embarrassing losses in franchise history at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings just 4 nights ago. The Mike & Carla Morning Show just want you to know…the Silver & Black are back baby!
Losing to Minnesota 3-0 at Allegiant Stadium this past Sunday, is was too hard to watch. Not only was it a bad that game for our home team, the Vikings did nothing to prove they were a playoff team as well. A last second field goal was all the scoring that could be mustered between the two teams. It almost became a game of who doesn’t want to win! Fast forward to last night and it was a totally different team!
Raiders Bounce Back Big With A Win Over The Chargers
Not sure what interim Head Coach Antonio Pierce said to the team after the loss on Sunday, but it worked! Right out of the chute, the Silver & Black put up 21 points on the Chargers before they knew there was a game! The stadium was packed, it was loud, and the crowd was actually hoping the team would go for 70 points!
Evidently, the coaching staff for the team decided to call off the dawgs in the 4th quarter. After all was said and done, the one stat that stood out for Las Vegas, 8 different players scored for the team…and that’s what you call spreading the wealth!
Oh, and there was some fallout from the victory on the Charger side. The head coach and the GM for their team…both FIRED! So, it was that bad of a game for Los Angeles! Noting that even ESPN reported in an article that owner Dean Spanos said that the fans of the Chargers “deserved more!”
The team is now 5-7 with their next game in Kansas City against the Chiefs on Monday night! Below is sportscaster Al Michaels wrapping it up last night with the final call…enjoy!
