Another Big Bang Theory Spinoff Could Be Happening Soon
There could be another Big Bang Theory spinoff in the works. And this writer is all for it.
The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, And Now Possibly Another Spinoff
I’ve been watching The Big Bang Theory again, and for some reason, it’s even better now. A friend of mine once said it was “a show about smart people, for dumb people.” I don’t know about that – or maybe I don’t want to admit it. I do know that I learned a lot – of which I can’t remember.
The show was hugely successful. The writing was exceptional. The acting was superb. But the story of four friends, that eventually became seven friends, was not only hilariously funny, but also incredibly heartwarming.
The BBG prequel spinoff, Young Sheldon has also been very successful. I was sceptical about this show, but it really grew on me. This will be its last season, since ‘young’ Sheldon is not so young anymore. The show was really good, especially if you watched The Big Bang Theory. A big reason it was so good, is that the original creator of BBG, Chuck Lorre, is also Young Sheldon.
If you were a fan of either or both, you will be glad to know that there is another spinoff being talked about. According to Screen Rant, Chuck Lorre would once again head the project. This should be the rule for ANY spinoff: Original creator/writers.
What Could The Next Big Bang Theory Spinoff Be About
There are a lot of rumors on what the show could be about. Here are some that I think would be great.
One: Center on the offspring of Sheldon and Amy, Howard and Bernadette, or Leonard and Penny – or all of them. Then maybe have the original characters return in supporting guest roles. Like That 90’s Show did, with a few of That 70’s Show characters.
Two: Possibly another prequel, in the style of Young Sheldon. Focusing on one original character when they were younger, or a teen. This would be fun! However, if they do this, I think they eventually need to do one for all of the characters. My opinion, of course.
Three: Howard and Raj. They were really funny together, so why not?
Four: Expand on Young Sheldon, but focus on the other Cooper family members. This would be an easy one, and timely since Young Sheldon is just wrapping up. And we’d love to see how Missy ended up with four kids. Because we know it would be both funny, and poignant.
Whatever the show may be – I say BAZINGA!
