On the other hand, if they just kind of go, "what's the big deal about a bird?" Chances are it's over.
Find out if your new relationship pass "The Bird Test"
The cool thing is you can try this when you're out on a first date. Striking up a friendship or even your family members. That seems to be the beauty of this whole process. Heck, you can even try it now with your better half to see if your relationship is intact!
It's simple, doesn't cost anything. Who knows, you just might find out a little something about the person you're with. The M&C Morning Show also thinks this might work with any other inane object. Here in Las Vegas, you could use a cactus, a donkey out on Blue Diamond, or a mountain. Look at the shape, do you share the same feeling about it?
Hey, what do you have to lose right? Give it a shot and see how it goes. The initial video was uploaded on TikTok, it does contain profanity, so view at your own discretion here. But first, you have to hear it play out on with M&C this morning. Who knew something so simple would be the base of a long and loving relationship. And here some people say marriage is for the BIRDS!
Nevada Has 4 of the Best Cities for Singles in America
Looking for love in all the wrong places? Try Nevada, if you want to find a significant other. According to a recent study, two Nevada cities are on the list of having the most singles in America. That's a lot of people single and looking to mingle.
WalletHub recently published a study that compared 182 U.S. cites in three key dimensions to find best and worst cities for singles. Those dimensions include economics; fun & recreation; and dating opportunities. Then, each dimension was evaluated on relevant metrics, such as the average price for two people to have a meal out, social clubs per capita, share of single population and more. "We evaluated those dimensions using 36 relevant metrics, which are listed below with their corresponding weights. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for singles," WalletHub adds.
WalletHub also notes that, "Nearly 50% of the U.S. adult population is unmarried (never married, divorced or widowed), according to the latest U.S. Census Bureau estimates. The share may be higher or lower in an individual city, though, and the ratio of women to men also will differ in each. Some singles may boost their chances of meeting others through online dating, which got a boost in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic."
The study found that the top five best cities in which to be single are Seattle, Washington at No. 1 and Madison, Wisconsin at No. 2. Those are followed by Denver, Colorado at No. 3; San Francisco, California at No. 2; and Portland, Oregon at No. 5. The city in America with the highest number of singles is Burlington, Vermont.
Read on for which Nevada cities made the tally. Find the full study of the best cities to find love in America here.
#140 - Henderson, Nevada
Henderson, Nevada, came in at No. 140 out of 200 on the list of the best cities for singles in America. When it came to "dating opportunities," it ranked No. 135. This city doesn't have the glitz and glam of Las Vegas, but it apparently has a good singles scene.
#126 - North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas, Nevada, came in at No. 126 on the list of the best cities for singles in America. When it came to "dating opportunities," it ranked No. 90. That's even better! Of course, we can think of lots of fun dating ideas around North Las Vegas, so it makes sense to see it raking in the top 100 for "dating opportunities."
#13 - Reno, Nevada
Henderson, Nevada, came in at No. 13 out of 200 on the list of the best cities for singles in America. That makes it one of the top cities for finding love, or at least a hookup. (Not that we recommend that.) When it came to "dating opportunities," it ranked No. 15.
#11 - Las Vegas, Nevada
Of course, Las Vegas, Nevada, came in at No. 11 out of 200 on the list of the best cities for singles in America. As a city known for its nightlife and single scene, it's obvious that Las Vegas is one of the best places to be if you're single and looking to mingle. When it came to "dating opportunities," it ranked No. 71, though. Not sure what's up with that.
