Be Prepared: Zombies Will Invade Downtown Las Vegas And Dance To ‘Thriller’
Prepare yourselves for the invasion! Dancing zombies will be descending upon Downtown Container Park in Las Vegas this Saturday, October 28th. For this purpose, Thrill The World is bringing their 17th annual “Worldwide Simultaneous Thrill Dance” to Sin City for Halloween weekend.
Dancing Zombies Will Perform To Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”
In any case, Thrill The World is a non-profit organization that uses dance to bring people together from all nations, “religions, races, political persuasions, and economic backgrounds.” You can see their official website by clicking here. Last year, this world-wide event included thousands of people from all over the world together to dance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”
In fact, according to an article by News 3 Staff on News3LV.com, this annual global event has had as many as 23,000 dancers from 32 different countries participating in past years. That’s pretty amazing. What’s even more amazing in my estimation? It’s that all these dancing zombies perform simultaneously to “Thriller!” I wouldn’t even begin to imagine trying to coordinate a worldwide event like that.
This year’s zombie dance includes official events in Algeria, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Malaysia and Russia. Of course, there are plenty of cities in the United States participating too.
Here in Las Vegas, the Thrill The World event takes place at Downtown Container Park. The zombie dancers will begin their worldwide simultaneous performance at 3 p.m. sharp this Saturday, October 28th. If you’d like to watch the fun, the shopping center at Downtown Container Park is where you’ll need to be. It’s located at 707 East Fremont Street.
Zombie Dancers Of All Ages Can Participate
