Not that we're the experts, but one young lady wanted to know with her Dad paying for her "fairytale" wedding, should he be allowed to bring his mistress? What do you do? The Mike & Carla Morning Show got an email this morning from a young lady who is recently engaged.

Her dad has said that he will foot the bill for her fairytale wedding, but he wants to bring his "mistress"! This is the woman that allegedly broke up her parent's marriage. The daughter does not like this woman, nor do other family members. But dad is paying for everything, should he be able to bring anyone he wants...including his mistress.

Should Dad be able to bring his mistress to the wedding?

The girl said that she is worried about her mom and how she will take this. That it might be embarrassing for her. So, what would you tell this young lady, what advice would you give her? Mike O'Brian said to just elope! That's it...take off and get married in a private ceremony by yourself and a couple of friends. Carla Rea really didn't know what she would do, but was open to ideas!

Once listeners started calling and texting in, it was apparent what the advice would be. One listener suggested talking to the mom first. Talk to mom, give her the lay of the land and ask her how she feels about all of this. Another listener suggested the same thing, to get mom's take first and then go from there.

It was also suggested that mom might surprise everyone, let dad pay for the wedding, pick up the tab on everything...as long as there's an open bar! LOL! Moms tend to be logical and more sensible than dad. With that said, most people thought she would say, the day belongs to the daughter and I'll be okay! Anyway, listen to the segment and see what you think after hearing it...and enjoy!

To determined "happiness" the survey considered the following factors:

You factor in all these things to find which state has the happiest people. Now consider the fact that married people tend to be happier to start with.  With all that said, it's sad to say that, despite all the fun we might have to offer in the state of Nevada, we are ranked #34! Even though our "Depression Rate" is a 3, we fall low on scores in the other categories.

Sometimes that can be an issue. That alone can be one huge reason as to why being married in this state is tough.
