Parents Would Rather Cleans Toilets Than Do This For Their Kids

It's hard to believe, but the parents would rather clean toilets than do this for their kids...and you'll be shocked! Please say it ain't so! The Mike & Carla Morning Show was amazed by this stat and, to be honest, so were some parents!

In an article put out by Yahoo Finance, a survey reveals that 26% of parents surveyed hate making lunch for their kids. A simple lunch for school, we're talking the basic sandwich, chips and maybe an apple.

In fact, the study shows that 29% of those parents would rather clean toilets than make a lunch for their kids! 17% would rather have a cavity filled than put together a simple brown bag lunch for the kids. Most parents said it's too challenging and "frustrating"!

Not too mention, a lot of moms and dads say the lunches come back home uneaten! So there's that to...and parents say it take too much time? Really? Of course we are talking a well prepared lunch for the kids. We're not just talking throwing in a prepackaged eatable. Making the sandwich. Preparing a dessert of some type and/or packaging yourself the grapes, slicing up an orange.

I just remember packing my own lunch a lot of times. Not that my mom didn't want to do it...I just knew what I wanted. And the other factor you have to figure in, what you could trade to up your lunch! That was always a factor in preparing the afternoon meal for school.

Now it just so happens that if you are teaching your own kids to make their own lunch, there's a contest! And the grand prize is $10,000 in groceries! In the article mentioned above, there is a contest going on right now. This might be something worth investigating mom and dad...heck, if you're kid is packing their own lunch, make it worth it!

Cleaning toilets, getting a cavity filled, might be a little over the top. But clearly parents are not fond of making lunch for their kids...

All of your hard work will go to waste! Safety is paramount on Halloween, and unwrapped or unlabeled edibles can raise concerns.

Another item to avoid is pennies. They're not even worth the trip to the store, and they make you question if you've accidentally stumbled into a time machine back to the 1950s. If you’re going to give out money on Halloween, make it worthwhile if you can swing it. While Halloween is all about surprises, pennies are definitely not the kind of surprises anyone hopes for.

Halloween is not the time to distribute religious or informational materials. Kids are looking for fun and treats, not pamphlets. Consider giving those away another day that's not Halloween.

Those fancy homemade snacks that look like they came straight from Pinterest can be cute, but if you don't really know the kids or their parents, they might wonder about your intentions. Sticking to pre-packaged treats is your best bet on Halloween, especially if you're trying to keep trick-or-treating simple and sanitary.
