At this time, it’s “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” through October 31st. Of course, you’ll be seeing lots of pink ribbons. Additionally, many businesses get involved supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation or other breast cancer charities with special offers.

Specialty Cocktails Which Help Support Breast Cancer Charities

Certainly, there are plenty of special offers you can take advantage of this month. Besides wearing a pink ribbon to show your support, you can order a special pink cocktail. For example, Cabo Wabo Cantina in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood is serving up their Vojito signature cocktail. Enjoy handcrafted berry vodka, blackberries, blueberries, lime, mint, sour mix, and soda water for a cocktail packed with flavor. Cabo Wabo will donate a dollar from the sale of each Vojito during October to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Additionally, over at Proper Eats Food Hall on the promenade level at ARIA, Proper Bar is getting involved. They’re mixing up two specialty pink cocktails: “Thinking Pink” and “Pink Ribbon.” In like manner, a dollar from the sale of each drink also goes to a non-profit breast cancer charity.

Enhance Your Beauty With These Special Offers

Moreover, you don’t have to drink alcohol to enjoy a special Breast Cancer Awareness month offer. The folks at The Birthday Suit waxing spa have something for you. It’s a “Pink Ribbon Radiance” self-care kit available during October for $40. Basically, the kit includes a “Pink Cotton Candy Sugar Scrub, Pink Cotton Candy Lotion, Pink Lava Exfoliating Body Wash, 10 Pretty in Pink collagen eye gels, two Pink Collagen Lip Masks, a bracelet, a $10 gift card to The Birthday Suit, and self-breast exam instructions.” In addition, 25% of the proceeds will be donated to Angels of Las Vegas. You can visit The Birthday Suit spa at 3700 South Hualapai Way #103 in Las Vegas or 2980 St. Rose Parkway #140 in Henderson.

A Delicious Way To Support Breast Cancer Charities

Undoubtedly, Pinkbox Doughnuts is one of Southern Nevada’s favorite spots for delectable desserts. In fact, they’re offering up a special “Pink Ribbon” confection during October. Basically, it’s a doughnut in the shape of a pink ribbon you might wear on your lapel. Then, they cover it with pink frosting and pink sprinkles. It sells for $3 dollars with 10% of the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

These are just a few of the offers you can take advantage of during Breast Cancer Awareness Month here in the Las Vegas valley. I’m sure you’ll run into many more everywhere you go during October. If you would like to donate directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, click here. Stay pink!
