Now when you hear nude and barbershops, we're not talking about a nude cut. Nope, we're talking about the barber and the client are all nude. Everyone in the barbershop is completely naked.

According to Vice, they said it's not just a fad anymore. It's a place for men to go to have quiet time, while getting a trim or cut. They said it's an "alternate to the macho atmosphere" you're used to at a normal male barbershop.

As of now, there are about four nudist salons all across Brazil. Each one offers something different. But they all share one similar thing... you need to be naked to be in there.

The Original Nude Barbershop Spot

Barbearia Naturista was the first to open in Brazil. The owner and founder of the Barbershop, Rodney Araujo, told Vice that other locations are opening with names similar to theirs, in hopes to steal some of their business. Araujo opened his place back in 2021. Rodney's location has a total of eight employees who offer different services to their clients.

Araujo said the point to nude barbershops is to help spread the word and practice of nudism. It's not just for beaches and campsites. He's said they've had so much success with it, that they've even extended their hours of operation to 2 a.m. every night.

Other locations offer the same services to their clients, but do the whole nude thing for different reasons. One location says the nude aspect is liberating and is more relaxing for their clients. Same things happen there as they would in a normal barbershop. During the cuts or services, they talk about things going on in each others lives and more. People feel uncomfortable at first, but learn really quick how much more relaxing it is for them to be nude.

Is this something you'd do? We have more on this story in today's Other News!

Raiders Owner Mark Davis Cashes In For 10.5 Million On Las Vegas Home — Time To Buy a Haircut!

Las Vegas Raiders owner, Mark Davis, has cashed in on his condo in a wealthy Las Vegas area.

Raiders Owner Cashes In:

Davis sold a single-story, 2,862-square-foot unit in The Summit Club for $10.5 million last month, according to property records, which indicate the football boss purchased the condo in 2021 for $5.3 million.

He sold it to David Goggins, an author, long-distance runner and former Navy SEAL, Clark County records and Nevada business-entity filings indicate. Goggins purchased the home through a limited liability company called Stay Away.

The Summit Club, which spans hundreds of acres off Town Center Drive south of Flamingo Road, in Las Vegas’ Summerlin community, features a golf course, luxury homes and a “wealth” of amenities including “round-the-clock security,” its website declares.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reached out to Mark Davis for a comment on his recent home sale, he said in a text message on Thursday: “Not Much To Say. You Know More Than I Do !!!” He didn't reply to a follow-up message asking if he could confirm that he sold the unit.

Author Buys Mark Davis Home:

David Goggins “transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future, into a U.S. Armed Forces icon and one of the world’s top endurance athletes,” according to his memoir, “Can’t Hurt Me,” from Lioncrest Publishing. He is the “only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force Tactical Air Controller,” the bio says.

Goggins has finished more than 70 ultra-distance races, often placing in the top five, and is a former Guinness World Record holder for completing 4,030 pull-ups in 17 hours, according to his website. He also wrote a best-selling memoir called “Can’t Hurt Me” and a book called “Never Finished.”

Multiple attempts by the Las Vegas Review Journal to reach Goggins for comment were unsuccessful. An auto reply from an email said he “is not scheduling any media at this time however please feel free to follow up again in a few months time if still interested.”

Raiders Owner New Raiders Inspired Home:

Mark Davis was no stranger to The Summit Club. He purchased land there in 2017 for $8.5 million, and permits were pulled to build a custom home, according to Clark County records. The house was never built, and Davis sold the 1.2-acre plot for $10.5 million in 2020.

Davis also purchased a 6.3-acre site in Ascaya, a mountain-mansion community in Henderson, for $6 million in 2020 and is building a three-story, ultra-luxury house there.

The seemingly Raiders-inspired mansion looked strikingly similar to the Raiders’ practice facility in Henderson and even, in some ways, like Allegiant Stadium.

It will have floor-to-ceiling windows, rising to a peak in the middle, where the top floor looks like the bridge of a ship, according to plans filed with the city of Henderson. It also will feature a “man cave,” a prep kitchen, bar, steam room, library, porte-cochere and “guest/vendor parking area.”

A building permit application for the home says it will span just over 15,000 square feet and have a 5,422-square-foot garage area. It listed a value of $14 million.

Perhaps now Mark Davis can afford a real haircut.

Here are some of Mark Davis's former neighbors in The Summit Club:

Mark Wahlberg

In 2022 Mark Wahlberg purchased 2.5 acres in The Summit Club for $15.6 million and a two-story, 7,327-square-foot townhouse in the community for $14.5 million.

Bill Foley

Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley built a 17,500 square foot home in The Summit Club. The property has panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip, and sits on nearly 5 acres. It was purchased in May of 2016 for $6,500,000. Foley had purchased a home directly northeast of the property in an adjoining community in 2015 for $8 million, and was able to observe the construction of this home from his back yard.

The Summit Club

The Summit Club costs$200,000 to join. Residences range from 3,200 square feet up to 7,000 square feet, on huge lots. Depending on views, the units range from $1,500 a square foot to $1,800/$1,900 plus, a square foot. That would be $6 million to $12 million.
