Thirdly, you should know that they get a big crowd down on Water Street during Hot Rod Days. If you live in the area, organizers ask that you walk, bike, or scooter to the event. There is public parking, but it is limited. If you’re driving from outside the Water Street area, organizers urge you to carpool or rideshare if possible. Fourthly, this is a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring your kids. However, children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 96.3 KKLZ Hangs Out At Henderson Hot Rod Days

The Henderson Hot Rod Days wrapped up another successful two-day car show at Water Street Plaza at Henderson City Hall in Henderson, Nevada. Car enthusiasts got to explore classic, muscle cars, trucks and more.

The automobile show was in partnership with Boulder City Cruisin' Association. The weekend was filled with more than just dreamy cars but also LIVE entertainment. Alternative rock-band, Spin Doctors performed giving car lovers music to browse to. The New York City '90s band is known for their mega tracks, "Two Princes" and "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong." Other performers also played making the weekend a tune to remember.

Our amazing and fun middays host, Wendy Rush, stopped by to see what all the talk was about. The yellow 442 Oldsmobile muscle car was one of her favorites. She even saw an old truck that looked like Mater from the movie Cars except the truck was just a normal truck not a tow truck.

Our personal favorite were the T Bucket Models that we saw. We also saw some old-school Monte Carlos that were crafted with the uttermost care

Saturday was an excellent day as the award show took place ranking the vintage cars for the their best features. Congratulations to each of the car owners who walked away with an award for their time and dedication into their vehicles. It was beautiful to see the line of cars dot Water Street, showcasing our community's talent and passion for hot rods, low riders, muscle cars and so much.

If you haven't been to the Henderson Hot Rod Days we definitely recommend bringing the car admirer in your life next year!
