The mythical creature, the Loch Ness Monster has been searched and hunted for hundreds of years. People claim to have seen it. They have also captured photos of it, but no one knows if what was seen was real.
Wrapped around all of the stories, photos, sightings and more, are a bunch of skepticism and hoaxes. According to Complex.com, the first creature sighting was back in 565 AD. The most popular sighting though happened back in 1934. They called it the "surgeon's photograph." The popular photo showed a long necked, dinosaur-like figure popping above the water line. It appeared to be moving until it went back under. It was later determined that the photo was fake.
Is This New Sighting Another Hoax Or Is This The Real Thing?
First off, is any of this real? There's a reason we call this a myth. But, many people think the Loch Ness monster is real. So, photos and videos will randomly pop up and cause some social stir. Until it's actually caught on high-quality picture of film, theses photos will just be speculation. But it's still fun to pretend it is in fact a real thing, so we embrace anything new that comes up.
The Telegraph reported that a woman named Chie Kelly was visiting the famous body of water. Taking photos of her husband and daughter during their lunch at the Dores Inn. Chie said she was taking photos with her Canon camera, and in the background of some of the photos was a moving object in the water. She guessed it was about 200 meters away.
"It was spinning and rolling at times. We never saw a head or neck. After a couple of minutes, it just disappeared and we never saw it again," Kelly told The Telegraph.
The two photos Chie Kelly turned in, as what she thinks is proof the Loch Ness monsters or Nessie, shows two lumps above the water line moving around. Chie said it was spinning in circles and bobbing up and down. Then it just disappeared under the surface. The two photos she took back in 2018 has finally been released. Again, they're pictures so it's hard to tell. But it's just more fuel added to the fire. But you know that fans of "Nessie" have been excited to say the least.
