Does It Really Matter What Side You Sleep On

It's a question that comes up every once in a while, but does it really matter what side of the bed you sleep on? There are some people that are flexible and can change it up every once in a while. However, there are others that can't and sleep on the same side at home as well as on vacation!

That was the topic this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show when one woman claimed on TikTok that it just didn't matter. The video went viral and now everyone is talking about this issue. On the other hand, when she brought it up to friends they were like shocked (SHOCKED) that she and her husband changed it up every so often.

So, does it really matter to you? On The M&C Morning Show, Carla Rea admitted that she can change it up depending on where she sleeps. Left side, right side, it really doesn't matter to her. In fact, she thought if you continually sleep on the same side of the bed, you tend to get into a rut!

Morty felt the same way. Although single right now, sleeping on one side or the other doesn't really phase him at all. Of course, you might be surprised to find out that Mike O'Brian and his wife have slept on the same side for years! Even when on vacation at a hotel or staying with family and friends...looking at the bed, Mike sleeps on the right, Jodi on the left!

It was interesting that a few listeners agreed with the woman on TikTok, it just doesn't matter. One woman did call in with her story that was a little surprising to everyone. After being together for over fourteen years, she found out that her husband really preferred her side of the bed. She agreed to give it up, but she would only do so if he provided "X, Y, & Z"! Evidently the husband was willing to "provide", so he still has to sleep on his side of the bed!
