It was an easy question...the stupidest thing you bought as a kid? Well, we have a winner, someone on the morning show actually bought and wore a Beatle "wig"! Yep! You heard right! Someone on The Mike & Carla Morning Show actually admitted to not only buying it, but wearing it out in public!
On the other hand, there are a few other things we bought as kids, now looking back it was pretty stupid. Carla Rea admitted to being a huge Twiggy fan and buying the mini skirt and white go-go boots to prove it! Now keep in mind, Carla will be the first to admit, she was not the body type of a Twiggy to pull off the skirt and boots. But that didn't stop her from struttin' around Reno as a kid in her "mod" outfit!

Even Morty, M&C's Executive Producer, coming clean and admitted getting caught up in the Kris Kross phenomenon. Wearing everything backwards...Morty bought the jeans and sported around the islands makin' people JUMP! Now it wouldn't of been bad, but the backward jeans cost $50 at the time. Mom was not too happy about it no matter how cool they looked!
But what were the other things that listeners bought that as we look back were pretty stupid. From fashion to novelty items, quite a few listeners decided to fess up this morning. But low and behold we had an ultimate winner. John texted in to trump Mike O'Brian's Beatle wig! Just as we had forgotten all about these, John claimed the prize!
John admitted to being one of thousands of people who got duped into buying the very famous "X-ray" glasses! Oh yes, you put them on and you should have been able to see through anything! Imagine being a pre-teen knowing if you got these glasses you would be able to see though CLOTHES! Not too sure if they worked, but we bought them!
