It all started with "A Few Things We Think You Should Know" and how Ramen waffles were the favorite. This was trending as we come to find out that people in general were throwing Ramen noodles in waffle batter. Topped off with hot sauce, whipped cream and much more!
Some people even folding the waffle in have to make it lighter or just easier to eat. Then stuffing eggs, bacon, sausage and a lot more in there as well. Clearly, it's a whole new world right now. And to think parents are making these and feeding them to the kids. Hey, it does sound like a lot of fun to eat right?
But what are your kids eating before school? Given the choice or leaving it up to them, what's on their menu? We know we shouldn't be surprised, but we were. There were totally odd combinations for breakfast when it came to kids. Now keep in mind, when you're a kid, does it really matter what you mix together? Heck NO!
One food item that came up for breakfast was fish sticks! You know what? Why not...it seems when it comes to breakfast, bring it on. What do you have in the fridge...we're on the clock. How about just rice in a bowl with a bit of milk?
Then came the suggestions of "anything grilled"! Grilled cheese and bologna sandwiches. One listener also suggested grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. With that though, you had to be careful with the jelly being too hot!
All in all, it was quite the breakfast food fest this morning....check out the segment and enjoy!
Inspirada Brunch Henderson; You Have To Try The Cereal Shots
Vegas locals know that the city is expanding and more people are moving to areas outside of Summerlin and Henderson. Inspirada, located in the south-west part of Henderson, has become a sought out area for many families since it's initial open in 2007. If you're not familiar, it's about a 20 minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip going towards the M Hotel.
KB Homes, is leading the charge on building an environmentally-friendly development with "inspired living in mind." According to their website, their goal is to build a community with open walking trails, community centers, picnic areas and other leisurable amenities. Four other home builders are making Inspirada a dream paradise including: Beazer Homes, Century Communities, Toll Brothers and Pardee Homes.
As the development is expanding a new brunch location has opened called, Breakfast Junkies. This new dine-in restaurant is located at 3239 Bicentennial Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89044. They opened their doors on January 26, 2023.
The inside is very open and modern. The ceiling has rope-tied chandeliers, and the sitting area has natural wood tables and brown comfy chairs. They have a new DJ every weekend to provide background music for a perfect brunch.
Their menu has typical breakfast options including skillets, omelets, bennies, toasts and more. They also have a unique twist that many are buzzed about. For customers 21+ of course, they have "Breakfast Shots" which are shots that taste like your favorite breakfast meals.

Customers can get any three shots in a fight for $22. For our "influencers" out there, very much an Instagram-able moment.
