Arkansas Highway Covered In Nacho Cheese

If you're driving through Arkansas and driving on the I-30 West, be careful. You'll run or possibly slip on nacho cheese.

According to a statement to The Independent, a trucker with a load of Nacho Cheese collided with another truck. This caused the highway to be filled with busted cans of nacho cheese all over it. Both drivers are OK but the highway not so much. It took them a lot of time to get the cheese cleaned up. They even brought in a Bobcat, which is a heavy machine, to scrape the extra cheese that was on the highway!

The Arkansas Department of Transportation posted online, "Taco Tuesday, anyone? A truck carrying cans of nacho cheese spilled today on I-30 west near Prescott."

The Bobcat used to removed the cheese from the road had a blade at the end of it. The Bobcat's blade scraped the spilled cheese, according to The Independent. They then put sand on the road to prevent it from being slick and also to prevent future accidents from happening.

If you're wondering what nacho cheese brand littered the road...it was the brand Rico's.

After this story hit online, social media platforms blew up with all kinds of cheese puns.

A user wrote on Facebook, "I wonder how many tortilla chips it took to clean that up?" Another user on Twitter said, "Nacho average rush hour."

Another Facebook comment read, "I wonder how many people told him 'it’s not-cho day buddy!'" and "Any Dorito truck drivers please report to the scene immediately!"

This was the third incident in a week where food has fallen on to roadways from trucks, according to The Independent.
