When White Castle came to town, the ran out of burgers at the grand opening. Now that Whataburger is coming back, people are stoked...on the other hand, what are those Las Vegas eateries that are overrated? That's what The Mike & Carla Morning Show wanted to know this morning and got plenty of responses.

Even Mike O'Brian was happy to see White Castle make the move to Las Vegas, however, he has yet to have one. But remember when they had their grand opening on the strip, people lined up for miles to grab a "slider"! It was crazy...to the point where the hamburger stand ran out of food! Now granted, we all love White Castle, but to the point you would stand in line for hours? That's what M&C were talking about this morning!

Those Las Vegas Eateries That Are Overrated!

Those places that are fine, but to your friends they are the end all, be all. And when you don't agree with them, they're like "huh?" Again, not that any of the places mentioned are bad, it's just that a lot of us don't get the "OMG" factor that some people have with these places.

It's like when you drive by a In-n-Out Burger place and there is this long line of cars. It doesn't matter if it take 5 minutes or one hour, it's all worth it because it's In-n-Out man! Really? Those places where people would wait in line for hours to place an order. Most of us are like, "...really? Don't think so, there's another place right around the corner!"

Mexican food was mentioned quite a bit during the conversation. That one place is so good, that's the only place we go if we're going Mexican. Seriously? Can't we go to this place? People have their favorites and they stick to them. On the other hand, most of us just don't get it!

Listen to the segment and see if you don't agree...and enjoy!

Top 7 Spots For Sushi In Las Vegas That Are All You Can Eat

Sushi in Las Vegas is a hidden gem.

When an individual thinks about sushi, people don't usually think about the desert containing amazing sushi spots. But, we're here to dispel that belief.

There are a plethora of amazing sushi spots in Las Vegas that create amazing rolls and serve fresh-from-the-ocean sashimi. For this article, we will focus on the best "all you can eat" sushi spots in the valley.

"All you can eat sushi" is different than normal spots that don't offer this option. All you can eat (also abbreviated to AYCE) means that you pay one set price to eat as much as you want. Of course, there are restrictions. Usually, there are time limits set in place. This way, customers aren't spending all day eating sushi. There are also premium menu items that have limits on how much you can order.

Items such as toro tuna, which is a premium fatty tuna, sea urchins and Ama ebi shrimp usually have a limit of one order per person.

Chinatown has some of the best sushi spots in Las Vegas with a robust community of chefs and culinary masters, there are tons of kooky little spots that serve high-quality sushi at a decent price.

There are a few different types of sushi, too. Many people are use to the roll version of sushi. Items like California rolls, spicy tuna rolls, shrimp tempura rolls are some of the most commonly ordered items. But, there is more to sushi than just your basic roll!

Sashimi is raw fish. But, this shouldn't scare you. Raw fish like tuna, yellow tail and scallops are delectable on top of rice. When you eat raw fish on top of rice then this form of sushi is called nigiri. Sashimi refers to the sole piece of raw fish.

There are also handrolls, which is called temaki. Think of this like a sushi taco! A cone-shaped piece of seaweed wraps around rice and your choice of fish or vegetables. This is another delicious way to enjoy the art of sushi.

If you're a new sushi eater, our biggest piece of advice to you is to not be scared. Don't judge a book by its cover. Or in this case, don't judge a fish if it looks unappealing. Raw fish is packed with tons of flavor. But if you're a vegetarian, there are also great options for those who don't consume meat.

Natto is fermented soybeans and packed with tons of nutrients. You can eat natto in any roll form. There are also vegetable rolls and pickled plum rolls that are packed with flavor and umami goodness!

If you're hesitant to try new sushi then just remember that you only live once! Sushi is an experience, and who knows? Maybe these new rolls and types of fish will soon become your favorite.
