If you were one of the lucky few who went to the Billy Idol Hoover Dam concert, your movie is about to drop.

This year, Billy Idol performed at the first concert ever at Nevada's Hoover Dam. A film crew was on set for the April show. And concert goers had to sign a release to allow the filmmakers to use their footage in the film. Now fans are close to getting to see that show.

When Idol announced the concert, he offered full package deals with fans who wanted to attend. Those packages for the "Hoover Dam Weekender" included an overnight stay in a Las Vegas hotel. As well as transportation to the Hoover Dam for the show, and an after party at the iconic Hard Rock Cafe on the Las Vegas Strip.

Packages started at the price of $750, and those were the ones without the hotel stay. The highest package price was $2250, which offered fans stays at the best rooms in Las Vegas' Waldorf Astoria. Only 250 tickets total were sold to the show.

The new concert video, called Billy Idol: State Line, is being released this fall.

Called a "documentary concert film", the footage includes aerial views of the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. As well as daytime and nighttime shots of the performance. Musicians who participated included No Doubt's Tony Kanal, Sex Pistols' Steve Jones and The Kills' Alison Mosshart.

In addition to shots of the musicians playing, the video shows moments of the crowd enjoying the show. Idol performed two sets at the concert, an electric one and an acoustic one. There is footage of both sets in the new video.

Billy Idol: State Line is produced by Lastman Media for Vertigo Live docu-concert films. It will be premiering this fall in theaters. Idol dropped a teaser trailer this week. Check it out.

Setlist: Billy Idol At The Cosmopolitan

The legendary punk rocker Billy Idol is coming back to Las Vegas! He's bringing his Roadside Tour 2022 to the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Fun fact, did you know Chelsea was the name of Idol's very first band? He started with them as a guitarist in 1976.

But I think it was clear early on that Billy Idol didn't belong in the back of the band. He left Chelsea soon after he joined, and started Generation X with his buddies. This time, though, Billy Idol found his rightful place as the lead singer. In 1982, though, is when history was made. When Billy Idol became a solo artist and released his debut album.

Idol's The Roadside album is the first release of original music in seven years. You will hear some of your classic favorites at the show as well as new hits from this album. Here's what the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas says you can look forward to with the new music: "Billy Idol still makes gliding, thumping, cinematic songs about sin, redemption and the love of rock’n’roll…and that’s what you will find on 'The Roadside'...Produced by Butch Walker (Green Day, Weezer, amongst many others), 'The Roadside' takes Billy Idol into new but familiar waters full of color, power, atmosphere, attitude, and mystery."

Guitarist and co-songwriter Steve Stevens, and longtime collaborator of Idol's, will be joining him on this tour. The Roadside Tour 2022 is landing at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in November. Here are the show dates:

Fri Nov 11 - Sat Nov 12 - Wed Nov 16 - Fri Nov 18 - Sat Nov 19

Doors open at 7pm every show night and the show starts at 8:30pm. Tickets start at $57 plus taxes and fees and all ages are welcome to come. Here's the setlist of what you can expect at the show, from an earlier show on this tour. The shows at the Cosmopolitan may vary.
