You can still get your gambling on, but now, Las Vegas is home to some of the best theatrical productions you'll find. It's also a popular spot for trade conventions, bachelor and bachelorette parties, delicious food, clubbing, concerts and more. So, when is the best time to visit Las Vegas?
This is the Best Time to Visit Las Vegas
The experts at Travelandleisure.com have put together a story about the best time of the year to get to Las Vegas. They factor in plenty of things, but weather is a big one. They note that, "Las Vegas is located in the desert, so daytime temperatures in the summer regularly reach triple digits, which can put a damper on outdoor activities. On the plus side, the winter heat is a nice escape for anyone fleeing ice and snow."
Hence, judging by the weather, Travelandleisure.com says the best times to go to Las Vegas are spring and fall. "March, April, May, October, and November have the best weather for walking the Las Vegas Strip," they explain. The temperatures are much more mild, with highs in the 70s and 80s. Especially in the early spring, around March, you can expect highs in the 70s, which is very pleasant. That said, since August is the hottest month in Las Vegas, it's also a less expensive times to visit. But, expect to get temperatures in the triple digits. It's dry heat, which is good, but it's still really hot. Also, if you're looking to only visit the Las Vegas strip, the publication says that April and September are the best days to do that.
