The honeymoon used to be special, a night to remember. Well, guess what? "Honeymoon in Las Vegas" has changed...and not for the better! A story out of Australia this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show talks about a husband who was terribly disappointed on his honeymoon. Before we get to the "why", less than 24 hours after saying "I do", he wants a divorce.

After planning what was to be the perfect wedding, the couple finally got away. They retreated to their honeymoon suite for that "first" night together as husband and wife! Evidently the guy had higher expectations than his new bride for the night. Once in bed, she fell right asleep! She was pooped out and wasted no time falling asleep. Needless to say, the new husband was not happy. In fact, he saw this as a sign of things to come! To him, the marriage was over and now wants a divorce.

Let The Honeymoon Begin...Honey?

Now keep in mind, you plan this perfect wedding, you have family and friends to deal with. Making sure the food is perfect, the flowers, the decorations, the seating chart. You go through the checklist twice to make sure this day is perfect. When that day comes, you say your vows, keeping that smile plastered on your face the whole day. Get to the reception and everyone wants to dance, talk and be apart of that special day.

Let's be honest, it can be exhausting...so after all is said and done, by the time you get to your honeymoon suite you are spent! It's just gotten to the point where that first night together isn't at all what it used to be or should be for that matter!

For that reason, The M&C Morning Show wanted to know what your first night together was like! Was it everything you expected or less? Got a varied amount of responses from newlyweds and those that just wanted to reminisce. Take a couple of minutes, listen to the segment and see if you would seek a divorce if the same thing happened to you!

How Happy Are Married Couples In Nevada

Everyone knows that Las Vegas can be a fun place to live, but what if you're married. It might be hard to stay married in Las Vegas, but how happy are married couples in the state of Nevada? According to one article put out by Zippia, we're not very happy!

Exactly how happy are married couples in the State of Nevada?

To determined "happiness" the survey considered the following factors:

You factor in all these things to find which state has the happiest people. Now consider the fact that married people tend to be happier to start with.  With all that said, it's sad to say that, despite all the fun we might have to offer in the state of Nevada, we are ranked #34! Even though our "Depression Rate" is a 3, we fall low on scores in the other categories.

You would think that with everything our state offers, we can't be happier? The great outdoors, hiking trails, enjoying the lakes in both Southern and Northern Nevada? Think of all the shows, concerts. It seems like there is always something to do here. On the flipside, that might be the problem as well.

With gambling, being a 24 hour town, it sometimes is difficult to curb the urges with all that Las Vegas has to offer. As we all know, there's no "last call" here in our great state. Sometimes that can be an issue. That alone can be one huge reason as to why being married in this state is tough.

You can be take some solace that we are "happier" than those in the state of Texas, Florida and even in the tiny state of Rhode Island! By the way, the least happiest state...Louisiana! But what  states tend to be the happiest when you're married, you might be surprised. Do yourself a favor, scroll down and see what they are for yourself!
