The Subway fast food restaurant chain is set to introduce automated meat slicers in their locations. With this in mind, they are going to celebrate by giving away one million free subs!

Where And When To Get Your Free Subs At Subway

The one million sub giveaway will take place at participating Subway restaurants across the nation on Tuesday, July 11th. Head into your neighborhood location between 10am and noon that day. Step up to the counter and order a free 6-inch “Deli Heroes” sub. The first 50 customers to do so will get the free hookup.

In fact, Subway has invested $80 million dollars to equip their 20,000+ restaurants with new, automated, meat slicers. That’s according to an article in BusinessInsider.com by Nancy Luna. In essence, Subway is upping their game by introducing freshly sliced meat on all of their sandwiches.

However, per Luna’s article, there are four new “Deli Heroes” sandwiches which will be loaded down with more meat and cheese. For example, the new “Titan Turkey” and “Grand Slam Ham” sandwiches feature 33% more meat than a traditional Subway sandwich.

Whoa! What about “The Beast?” That’s another one of the new “Deli Heroes” sandwiches at Subway. It weighs in at about a half-pound. What’s more, it’s loaded down with freshly sliced “pepperoni, salami, turkey, ham, roast beef, and double provolone cheese.”

Free Subs Celebration Part Of A 2-Year Menu Overhaul At Subway

The BusinessInsider.com article reports that Subway has been overhauling its menu since 2021. To illustrate, they rolled out artisan breads, improved their soups, and added new meats. In addition, their “Eat Fresh Refresh” marketing campaign introduces standardized sandwiches to the menu. In the past, customers had to walk down the counter to build their own sandwich.

You might expect longer wait times to get your Subway sandwich now that they are introducing meat slicers. However, employees will be slicing the meats and cheeses during their prep time. To put it another way, they will not be slicing meats and cheeses to order.

To conclude, there are 90 Subway locations in Las Vegas according to ScrapeHero.com. So plan on hitting the one near you on Tuesday, July 11th between 10am-noon to enjoy one of the 1 million free subs!

Port Of Subs Donates 50 Cases Of Water And Challenges Other Sandwich Shops

Our longtime friend, Mike Adams, owner of a few leading Las Vegas Port Of Subs made a BIG stop at the Beasley Las Vegas building. Mike & Carla and the KKLZ crew were shocked (in the best way possible) to see a giant truck filled with cases of water! How many cases of water you ask?

50 cases of water! That equivalates to 2,000 individual water bottles.

Mike & Carla and the KKLZ crew spring into action to help Mike unload the cases. We are currently building a "water wall" in our Beasley lobby. You can see some updated photos on our socials.

Mike & Carla had to hear more about this donation so they brought Mike up to catch up about Project H2O.

We are currently half way through Project H2O with a Port of Subs water drop-off location tomorrow at 832 South Boulder Highway, Henderson NV 89015 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Carla will be out there with street teamer Megan! If you can donate, we would be grateful and would love to see you.

Our BIG Project H2O Water Party is happening this Saturday, May 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Beasley Broadcasting building located at, 2920 S Durango Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89117.

We hope to see you out there! If you would like to donate and are not able to make it out...
