Do You Wake Up Before Your Alarm?

Author Morty
June 26th 9:15 AM

If you wake up before your alarm, let it be known that you’re not alone. About 28% of Americans said they usually wake up before their alarm goes off!

Or are you one of those people who don’t even use an alarm? About 13% of Americans said they never use them. 41% percent said they don’t need them, or just use them just in case.

29% of people said that when their alarm goes off, they get up right away! But surprisingly this number isn’t higher, but 26% said they wake up after their alarm goes off.

So what about the snooze button? How many of us hit it? You’d think the percentage is high, but only 11% of Americans hit it! 21% of us don’t ever hit the snooze button!

So what do you do when it comes to your alarm? We have more on this story and others in today’s edition of a Few Things You Should Know!

Earn $127,000 A Year To Be A Billionaire's Dog Nanny

Are you looking for a new job? Do you absolutely love dogs, and believe they are a member of your family? If so here is your DREAM job.

If you treat your own dogs like royalty, this job’s for you. A billionaire in the U.K. is hiring a live-in DOG NANNY to take care of the family’s two dogs.Ā  You can apply online.Ā  It pays $127,000 a year!

The position, posted by Fairfax and Kensington household staffing agency, explains that the person selected would live with the family in Knightsbridge district in London and ā€œprovide unparalleled care and attention to the dogs, treating them as valued members of the family.ā€

According to the recruiter, this is the first time their agency has posted a dog-nanny job. Since going up just last week, the posting has already seen nearly 400 potential candidates.

You’d have to move to the U.K., and be cool with traveling the world, on their dime, every now and thenĀ  (I’m listening).Ā  You can read the whole job listing here and apply online too if you are interested.

Here are the details:

1.Ā  The family has two “beloved dogs” that require “top-tier care” and must be treated like “valued members of the family.”

2.Ā  They’re looking for a live-in dog nanny.Ā  So you’d be staying in their mansion, or some sort of guest house situation rent-free.Ā Ā (Still listening)

3.Ā  You’ll need to coordinate all vet appointments, keep detailed records of their health and medical history, and develop a, quote, “personalized exercise regimen” for each dog.Ā Ā ( Pilates and a light jog?)

4.Ā  You’ll need to accompany them on domestic and international trips, and arrange things like pet-friendly accommodations.

5.Ā  You’ll be organizing “playdates” with other dogs and finding, quote, “enriching activities to stimulate their senses.”

6.Ā  And you’ll also handle all the normal stuff that comes with having a dog.Ā  Like feeding and bathing them.

The ideal candidate has lots of experience with dogs – preferably other RICH PEOPLE’S dogs.Ā You also have to be willing to work irregular hours, like weekends and holidays.Ā  And you need a driver’s license so you can chauffer them around to their playdates, appointments, etc.

George Dunn, the recruiter, says the person ā€œwould be not too big of a character and be good at blending into the background then popping out when required.ā€

If this is the job for you, apply here.

Here are the dog breeds that are actually considered ‘royal breeds.”

  • Jack Russell Terriers

Your *now* favorite King – Charles –Ā  is the longtime owner of Jack Russell terriers. In 1994, it became an international news story when Charles lost one of his beloved pups, Pooh, in the Balmoral forest. Sadly, Pooh was never found. One of his Jack Russells, Tigga, became somewhat of a canine celebrity in the ’90s, often posing with princes Harry and William in official family Christmas cards. He lived to be anĀ astoundingĀ 18 years old.
