The City Carla Rea Can Never Go Back To And Why
As we played a song from Madonna, Carla Rea had a flashback and goes on to tell the story of one city she can never go back to and why! On The Mike & Carla Morning Show, it was quite the story when Carla was on the road doing her stand up. Keep in mind, this is a city that she has not returned to for decades!
We can honestly say it was nothing illegal she did or anything like that. But because it happened at the comedy club she worked in that city, she would never return. And it’s on Carla that she doesn’t return. So, right now you’re wondering what could have happened that she would never go back. Well, more on that in a bit, but we all have those “stories” don’t we?
“Hey Carla Rea, you’ll never work in this town again!”
And that’s what The M&C Morning Show wanted to know! What’s your story where you could never go back? Whether it be a city, a state or a simple restaurant or club. The memories were just that bad that you said “…never again!”
Listeners did text in with their own experience like Carla’s. She is not the only one with a story. Most of the people that texted in were interestingly from the Midwest. However, one guy texted in from Truckee, Nevada saying that one break-up was so bad he had to move…and he hasn’t been back since! That is a “bad” break-up!
Although it strayed off topic a bit, one woman called about why she would leave Michigan to go to Indiana! Mike O’Brian admitted skipping into Michigan from Indiana because of the lower drinking age, this woman had different ideas. It was to see a baseball game, go shopping or to the movies. Like they don’t have that stuff in Michigan?]
