Although she was out of town on her birthday, that didn't stop listeners from saluting Carla Rea on a very special birthday. The Mike & Carla Morning Show took calls, invited listeners to text in and even aired a song for Carla by Donny Osmond!
Carla has been sharing the mic with Mike O'Brian for quite a while now. Neither one of them misses a chance to celebrate their special day. Even with Carla on a "family" vacation right now, Mike and, Executive Producer, Morty made sure to get the message across that it was Carla's birthday!

Well wishes, poems and more came pouring in on Friday morning. So despite it being "Cinco de Mayo" of a lot of people. Those that follow The M&C Morning Show, on May5th, it changes to "Cinco de Carla"!
If you don't know, Carla has enjoyed 30 years of Comedy, Radio, and TV experience. Has been seen on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Showtime and Comedy Central. Worked Comedy Clubs throughout the U.S. including The Improv, Catch a Rising Star, The Comedy Store. Carla regularly hosts and performs at major corporate events for companies. And released her first comedy album, "Finding the Funny” in 2014, and hopes to do a second album very soon..
Carla was also a light feature reporter on Wake Up With The Wagner’s on KVBC/KSNV, Channel 3, NBC, Las Vegas. She is also a member of the Nevada Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame. Carla, along with her long time radio partner, Mike O’Brian, have won multiple Electronic Media Awards for "Best Morning Show in Las Vegas."
