It was that time again for 'group therapy" and we just wanted to know what was wrong with a teacher dating a former student? It popped up this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show after getting an email the other day. It was from a teacher who re-connected with a former student.

But getting back to our email, the teacher is 28 and the former student is now 22. They reconnected and the chemistry seems to be good right now. But the teacher wanted to know if it would actually be weird to move forward?
So that's what was put out there this morning for other listeners to comment on. Most listeners doing the math, thought it was fine. Might be a bit awkward when asked by friends how they met. Other than that though, they're both adults so it should be fine.
Is it okay to date a former teacher?
Some even admitting to dating their former teachers after being old enough. Those that said that, it was a little weird, but if it went further than a few dates, it was fine. One listener actually said that not only did they date, they're still together! Happily married for years with kids!
On the other hand, a couple of listeners said that it would totally be weird to date a former teacher. One listener said, having to listen to him/her in the classroom, don't know if they could do it as an adult!
