Social media came out with a list of names considered "hot", but what are those names you just won't date because of their name? It was the hot topic this morning on The Mike & Carla Morning Show this morning. When it came to women, Brianna, Lexi, Erika, Brooke took the top spots. For guys, it's Brett, Tyler, Cory, and Andy...not sure if you would agree.
According to Carla Rea, she always thought the name Grant was hot...Cary Grant, Hugh Grant. Of course she's talking first names right? But here's what we wanted to know, what "name" would you avoid dating. Just based on the name alone, no matter if you like the person or not, what name would you NOT date?
It was interesting from both sides of the aisle on this topic. Most men said they would avoid women that shared the same with their mother. Guys agreed it would be tough to be in that "moment" and say their mother's name.
On the flipside, most of the women said their dad or even their brother's name. It would be hard to date someone that shared with either one for the same reason. Ladies, do you agree? Have you even tried to date someone with the same as you dad or brother? How did that work out?
One woman actually admitted that she not only dated, but married a couple of guys with the same as her father. Seeing that it didn't work out very well, she has since avoided that "Robert" overall.
We all have our reasons as to why we might avoid dating someone with just that one thing in common, but we do. If you have a couple of minutes, listen to the segment. See if down deep you don't have a name in the back of your mind that you would avoid. It could be for any reason...but you just might!
