Summer is right around the corner, so if you have friends coming to town, what are the cheapest months to visit Las Vegas? Well, hate to break the news to you, but it's definitely NOT during the summer! According to a recent article from Travel, here are the best times to visit Las Vegas on a budget. Tell your friends to schedule their vacation between January and April or between September and November.

There's quite a few reasons to enjoy Las Vegas during these months...one important reason, airfare. Just getting to Las Vegas can be a little expensive, but take advantage of the low airline prices during the months mentioned above. One huge tip for your friends if they are thinking about flying into our fair city, avoid flying during the holidays. Those are the most expensive times to fly.

Once you're here, that's a whole different discussion. Another reason to avoid the "Entertainment Capital of the World" during the holidays are the hotel costs. During the holidays, hotels up and down the Strip tend to be the highest. Another thing to consider is arriving on a Sunday! A majority of tourist end their "Vegas Vacation" on a Sunday. For that reason alone, that why your friends should start their on that day to get the best rates!

Weather also has a lot to do with the "cheapest months" to visit Las Vegas. Consider this, from January to April, it seems to be a little chilly even for our city. Another reason why a lot of people normally avoid the desert. But if you're looking for the best deals and you don't mind a chill in the air, those first few months of the year are the best to visit. Especially when you are hoping to save a few bucks on your getaway.
