Free Parking (And Other Incentives) Is Back At One Las Vegas Resort

In a city overrun with parking fees, it’s nice to see one resort on the Las Vegas strip is back to offering free parking, at least for now.

When the Hard Rock International company bought out the old Mirage resort, many locals were sad. The company has already closed the famous Siegfried and Roy Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. And they’re planning to do away with the famous volcano as well.

But the Mirage is offering some incentives for locals. Maybe they’re trying to apologize for what locals feel like they’re losing. Or maybe they’re just trying to keep people coming back to the hotel during the transition to the new Hard Rock Guitar hotel. They have stated they won’t be closing the main part of the property during the renovation. So they will need a reason for people to still come in.

But free parking isn’t the only incentive they’re offering.

The new owners of the property know that it will be hard to get rooms filled in a hotel that is an ongoing construction zone. So they’re throwing free parking at locals in attempts to keep their loyalty during renovation, thestreet.com reported.

In addition to the parking, they’re also offering 20% discounts on the shows in the hotel. Part of the deal Hard Rock International made with the Mirage was to keep “The Beatles LOVE” show running after the renovation is complete. The Mirage is also home to Shin Lim’s “Limitless” production. And locals can enjoy the discount on both shows.

Discounts on dining and select happy hours will also be available for locals. All you have to do to get these deals is to show your Nevada ID. There is one catch, though. Locals who want these perks have to sign up for the new Hard Rock Hotel Unity Rewards Program. But hey, for parking that is free all day, it’s totally worth being on another email list.

Las Vegas Freebies On Your Birthday

We thought it would be a good idea to find out what Las Vegas FREEBIES are out there on your birthday! In a city where we offer everything to everyone, there has to be some you can take advantage of on your birthday. The Mike & Carla Morning Show talked about this since Mike O’Brian’s birthday is just days away!

Of course, everyone knows you can walk into a Denny’s on your birthday for a famous Grand Slam Breakfast. Even Hooter’s has freebies on your birthday in the way of 10 FREE Birthday Wings! So as you approach your own birthday, maybe you should take the time to investigate before heading out.

In fact, one woman in North Carolina made it her mission to try and take advantage of all the birthday freebies out there. She acquired quite the list and  a stockpile of freebies to last an entire year. She got in her car and drove all over the area making sure she didn’t miss one opportunity to take advantage of her birthday.

From cakes, to smoothies, to discounts and more…this woman made it happen. And after posting it on TikTok, her followers were quite impressed! Not shy about showing off the fruits of her labors, she displayed quite an array of items…all FREE! Watch the video by clicking HERE.

But when it comes to living here in Las Vegas, what birthday freebies are we able to take advantage of? Well, according to an article put out by 1OAKLas Vegas, there is quite the list. Freebies that you can take advantage of  of on your birthday.

Steak-n-Shake offers a FREE shake to those celebrating a birthday, as well as Del Taco. Downtown at the Plaza, they offer quite a few freebies, but the one that we noticed in the article was the FREE bingo and dessert
