Is Your Dog Interfering With You Love Life
For those couples that have dogs, here’s the question, is your dog interfering with your love life? That’s what came up on The Mike & Carla Morning Show when Carla Rea brought up this problem her friends were having.
They brought a new dog home from the local animal shelter and love it to death. The only problem is that when they go to bed, it’s right there! Do you get our drift? No alone time anymore! Any chance of, well, making love is out the window. Unless they don’t have a dog watching or being right there.
Come to find out that this is a problem that other couples have experienced as well. Now some couples told M&C that they actually have to put the four legged friend in a kennel to get some love time in. While others were good with the pup in the room with them. Hey, if they don’t care, why should the dog care right?
It all seemed a little weird to us though. One couple tried to just put it outside the bedroom, but the constant scratching of the door didn’t help the vibe. On the flipside though, there are some benefits to sleeping with your mut.
Sleeping with Fido can mean reducing your depression…especially if you’re already sleeping alone. It eases your insomnia, if that’s what you suffer from. And last, but not least, there’s a sense of security when sleeping with your dog.
But, let’s get back to the problem at hand…what do you do when it’s that magical moment? One expert says that you can train them to get off the bed when told. Not sure if that will always work, but give it a shot. The other thing trainers mention is give them a toy when it’s that time. Hey, at some point, we’ll try anything right?
