ESPN is reporting that 45 year old Tom Brady is calling it quits for good. This will end his 23 year illustrious career in the NFL! Making the announcement on social media, the Tampa Bay quarterback saying that he has no regrets! Even though he retired after the 2021 season, Tom Brady said that this is for real now and he’s done!

The University of Michigan alum spent his first 20 seasons in the league with the New England Patriots. Being drafted 199th in the sixth round in the 2000 NFL draft, looking back, clearly someone knew something about the skinny kid from San Mateo, California! It was with the Patriot’s and coach Bill Belichick that they created a franchise dynasty from 2001 to 2019. Before moving on to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win yet another Super Bowl Championship.

Winning 7 Super Bowls, 5 time Super Bowl MVP, he winds up being the NFL’s all-time leading passer, more touchdown passes than any other quarterback. After all is said and done, the 3 time league MVP said to his family, friends, teammates, and others,  “Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all!”

While it might not be shocking to most, some are surprised, but Tom always said he wanted to play until he was 45. Although this past season was a little rough and with an early exit from this year’s round of playoffs, it was rumored that Brady might be on his way to Las Vegas!

A lot of football pundits had the GOAT coming to the “Entertainment Capital of the World” to play for the Las Vegas Raiders. He’s connection to head coach Josh McDaniels all most made that a reality.

Recently divorced, rumors are now flying around at what the greatest quarterback of all time will do next. Is he headed to the broadcasting booth? Will he step away all together? So, there will be no speculation this upcoming season. No rumors as to where Brady will be playing, how’s his health, can he make it another year. Tom Brady has made sure of that…let it be said, let it be done!

Find out what The Mike & Carla Morning Show had to say about the announcement and the options Tom might have in life after football…and enjoy!
