Anytime you start dating someone, you try the best you can to get to know them. But when you finally tie the knot, that takes it to another level. What are those things you should know about your spouse even after saying "I do"?

The Mike & Carla Morning Show began a conversation this morning all because Mike O'Brian admitted that he didn't know how his wife took her coffee. Now keep in mind, they've known each other for over 30 years, been together for over 16 and married for over 8 years. You would think that Mike would know what Jodi likes in her coffee!

On the other hand, Carla Rea knows what Angie likes and vice versa! Well, aren't they the perfect couple? LOL, but seriously, just because you've been together that long, should you know all this about your spouse or that person you are involved with?

So Mike admitted he didn't know how his wife liked her coffee, but did Jodi know his neck size in case she had to buy him dress shirt? Well, guess what? Now how does that compare to knowing what one likes in his or her coffee?

So what are those thing you should know about your spouse? For example, what's their favorite nickname? What's your favorite food? What television shows do you like? All these questions are valid and should be known before taking the next step!

Now understand that as your relationship continues, you'll be able to find out more and more about your partner, but the real challenge will be to notice the little things he or she does. Take notes on the little quirks, how they eat, how they fix their coffee and more!

Do all this and you should be good to go...now listen to the segment from this morning and do take note on the good, the bad and the "OMG, how did you not know that?"
