What A Lot Of 'Karens' Did In 2022

What did a lot of Karen's do last year to escape the heat of being a "Karen"...well, they changed their name! That's right! Tired of being looped in with all that goes with the name "Karen", the ones that were nothing but nice all year took the heat, but enough was enough!

With that said, on The Mike & Carla Morning Show, we talked about names and depending on what your name was or even what it rhymed with, grade school could be hell for some kids. Carla Rea gave us an example of what she went through as a kid...on the other hand, Mike O'Brian, not too much rhymes with "Mike", except maybe "bike".

The other thing that came up talking about names, did you name up or down when you got married? A lot of women have that cool last name, but when they say "I do" and take on the man's last name, it changes everything! Nowadays, maybe not as much since more and more women are keeping their last names or using the hyphen.

Heck, if the man has a goofy last name, nothing stopping him nowadays from using his bride's name...it is 2023!

The M&C Morning Show, however, did want to know if you indeed changed your name and why? The text lines blew up and even got a couple of calls how some women for the sake of their sanity, just changed their name from the original to a more acceptable version! It seems the motive tended to be out of grade school and the teasing they got, but as you grow up, that seems to settle down...unless your name is KAREN!

The fact that it really doesn't even really rhyme with anything you would think help...but with all that it's associated with from this past year, most women named Karen thought it might be best to just change it all together!
