Retired Las Vegas Christmas Decorations And Displays Find New Home
Have you ever wondered what happens to all of those retired Las Vegas Christmas decorations and displays? Well, now they are being restored and revived for all of us to see in some amazing, “larger-than-life creations” byĀ Bryan WatkinsĀ and the team at theĀ Drag Bunch Show inĀ Treasure Island.
According to an article written byĀ Jaclyn SchultzĀ onĀ Fox5Vegas.com,Ā Bryan Watkins has always had a love and a passion forĀ Christmas,Ā and he has amassed quite a collection of holiday decorations, displays, equipment, and memorabilia. What is in this collection?Ā Schultz’s article states thatĀ WatkinsĀ currently has “4,700 square feet of Christmas decor: 100,000 Christmas ornaments, 1,000 Santas, three miles of extension cords, 600,000 Christmas lights and 150 Christmas trees, as well as dozens of retired gigantic displays and animatronics from places like the Bellagio and beyond.”

Pretty amazing, right? Now, ifĀ Bryan Watkins’ name is not familiar to you, you may know him by his stage name ofĀ Shannel. He is an entertainer in theĀ Drag Bunch ShowĀ inĀ Senor Frog’s atĀ Treasure Island.Ā Recently, he put his creativity and collection to good use with help from his manager Chelsea, a tailor from Drag Bunch,Ā and some other friends, to build an incredibleĀ ChristmasĀ display in and around his home for entry in theĀ Great Christmas Light FightĀ reality television show, and he won!
Most of his neighbors loved the display, but hisĀ HOA did not.
