Chief Constable Mark Roberts of Cheshire Police has said it's the first time that no fans from the UK were arrested at a World Cup. "The behavior of England and Wales out in Qatar was absolutely exemplary," Roberts said. "Throughout the home nations' involvement in the tournament there were no arrests or incidents to report, which is a credit to all those who travelled.
"In Russia 2018 there were three arrests. SIDENOTE: There was no booze allowed in Qatar at World Cup this year. So there's that.
A Los Angeles Sheriff's Deputy is in of hot water after allegedly getting caught having sex while on the clock. She got caught because the mic on her radio was on. Another deputy tried to get her to turn off the mic. She is a rookie deputy working at the Men's Central Jail at night or at least she WAS.
A 33-year-old woman named Sarah was arrested for stealing a guy's $12,000 watch, right here in Las Vegas over the weekend. It was a pretty elaborate plan: She flirted with the guy, and he invited her back to his room. They started making out and she told him to take off his watch, or it "might cut her." More wine, and she swiped his watch. When he noticed he went after her, and alerted security. Police came, but they couldn't find the watch - at first. She later admitted that it was hidden in her *ahem* HOO-HA. She was arrested and charged with grand larceny.
Sarah is from Baltimore, and was in town for a court hearing for a similar crime. She was arrested in Vegas in June for the SAME THING - wooed the guy, drugged him, stole his $100,000 wristwatch! It's unclear where she hid that one...
And, a Louisville, Kentucky woman won $175,000 at her company's holiday party. Laura works as the office manager at Harmon Dental Center. She was participating in a White Elephant/Secret Santa gift exchange when she traded her T.J. Maxx gift card for two lottery tickets. She won $50 on the first ticket before winning $175,000 on the second! Her co-workers cheered and went wild. Lori plans to use her winnings to pay off her daughter's student loans. Right on!!
